• Re: WBC 54 volume edition (cd-rom)

I think that you have to look at this from the perspective of the copyright holder, they have to be confident that when Logos distributes their product that they are remunerated as agreed, for this to happen they have to trust that Logos will only distribute their product (i.e. allow download in Logos 4/5) if Logos knows for sure that it has been properly

I really really really really want them to push Battles translation of Calvin's institutes into publication, it has been languishing under contract for far too long.

Carson's New Testament Commentary Survey, 6th ed. for $3.75 looks like a valuable tool to leverage any decent Logos library. http://www.logos.com/product/5342/new-testament-commentary-survey-6th-ed?utm_source=logosmarchmadness.com&utm_medium=productlink&utm_content=logosmarchmadness2013&utm_campaign=logos2013q1

I picked up Volume 5 of Encyclopedia of Christianity that I was missing for $65. http://www.logos.com/product/6039/the-encyclopedia-of-christianity-vol-5 It was winding me up to only have the first four volumes but I did not buy volume 5 on pre-pub as I was hoping it would be added to a base collection, as it turned out the set was dropped from base

No, the point is the licence. This other user not only will need to delete/uninstall the series, but (at least in case this user synchronized his/her licence with the Logos server) Logos will need to de-activate the licence from this user's account and activate it on yours. They will take USD 20 processing fee

  • Awful OCR errors in "A Fruitful Sermon upon Part of the Fifth Chapter of the First Epistle of Saint Paul to the Thessalonians"

This brand new "quality" Logos resource has some spectacular OCR errors that make you wonder if anyone has even looked at it. The actual title of the book in Logos, both in the text and as the tile is is: " A FRVITFVLL SERMON VPON" Now how can such an obvious collection of OCR errors not be spotted in such a prominent position, and how may others are

I also notice that the Oswald Chambers collection, which is new to the base packages, is available for mobile and I am sure that it did not used to be. I also notice that the product pages do not list mobile availability anymore, is everything on mobile now?
Please bear with me but why buy ISBE 1915, when it won't have the benefit of the last 90-something years of theological development?
The development of theology over the past 90 years is seen by many as little short of apostacy

There is also the impact of relevatism, a denial of historic revelation and a desire not to offend those of other faiths at the expense of truth to balance against the issue that you correctly (in my view) identify as a plus points. It is important to recognise though that people are no smarter now then they used to be. At least historic thought can

I was musing about buying the http://www.logos.com/product/8047/hermeneia-and-continental-commentaries#035 collection in view of the current promotion, one reason is that I would really like the Didache commentray and was wondering if I would get value out of "The Apostolic Tradition" commentary volume. My pet theory is that Logos is forcing these through production to form part of the new Logos 5 base packages, which would expleain all the "help" they are getting.
