Is is possible to perform a Bible study in Logos 6 without frequent sales disruptions?
Yes, you can turn that option off
I'm afraid many may worship the Logos god more than the sovereign GOD, creator of heaven and earth. After buying both for 99c the price for the larger collection fell by $75.

The new Media Browser tool is very useful but am I correct in thinking that it only browses the central Logos collection of resources, not media elements of our own libraries? If so this is a significant restriction on its utility.

For reasons that are really quite bizarre I am appearing on TV tomorrow to debate "Free Will" with a mixed panel of folks (including Muslims, atheists and Arminians), The show is on the BBC so it is quite high profile and given my own mediocre talents and knowledge it is, to say the least, quite daunting. I take a boringly orthodox reformed position
Oh, that's very interesting, I hope and pray that it goes well. I'll be very interested in watching. Send us a link when it's published, if you can. I've mulled this over, and the thing that has struck me is that free will is only possible in a theistic universe. Otherwise our will is simply the solution to physical mechanics

If anyone has any interest in this the programme will be broadcast at 10.00am on the 19th April on BBC1 as "The Big Questions". While I would definitely say very different things in retrospect It is hard when you are put on the spot with no warning. The best part was taking the train back to London afterwards with an atheist philosopher, a Roman Catholic

Use the Media Search tool for those. (There is some overlap as the Media

It would be really useful to me if Logos could publish the public domain " Bibliotheca Anti-Quakeriana ", it is a unique reference that lists all extant sources that are not Quaker friendly at the date of publication (1873). It is a really fascinating book, with comments on most of the resources stated.

I was under the impression that EB imposed the article limits.
The did and refused FL to include some articles key to religious studies ie. Martin Luther and C.S. Lewis -Dan
Good old EB, they have included John Calvin!
At this point we are not planning on selling it.
A bit more communication would be appreciated, and frankly is to be expected from any company that values its customer base.

I notice that the website has now been corrected, presumably the book information in the Logos applications will also be corrected in due course?

You should have included the Muggletonian hymn book: HUNDRED AND TWENTYSEVENTH SONG. (TUNE, ‘Ye Gentlemen of England.’) You faithful Muggletonians who truly do believe The doctrine of Muggleton to be the same as Reeve; Let no wise anti-followers infuse into your ear, That a prayer, Christ does hear, from us mortals here below.
Thanks MJ. This is helpful feedback. I haven't looked at every title in the collection but based off your example we can make the indices inexable. This isn't something we normally do for resources but would be useful in this case.
Sorry to parade my ignorance but " inexable"?

Its hard to think of a business model more likely to survive Covid than Faithlife.
-
perhaps you also brought the feature set as well?

They have just added this to the existing collection, it is downloading for me now without any need to order it

Normally there is a base package discount for the first few weeks from launch, last time there was a single package discount available, this time I cannot see any discounts at all apart from a connect discount on Logos 9 libraries. Is that all there is?
-
rather bizarrely when I added a low level Verbum base package the net price actually went up !
-
I have Verbum international Portfolio but when I look at Verbum Portfolio the cost of $8.22 is greyed out (not available to purchase in my region) and the only resource listed that is new to me is the $89.99 "The Liturgy of the Hours: According to the Roman Rite (4 vols.) *"

Really happy to have "The Steps of Humility and Pride" by Saint Bernard in Logos and was looking forward to reading this in the office tomorrow but it is not showing up on mobile, is this an issue or just a matter of timing?
