Is this bible working? How do you use it? How can you access it from Logos? Why doesn't the coupon code "FSBForums531" work (the cost is still 29.95)? I would pay for it if I knew it worked and how to use it but the website is not very helpful in this regard.

  • boxes in information text

Not sure how or when this started happening but there are boxes in my information text (see screen shot). I have the defaut font set back to default (I have experimented with other fonts but set it back to default hoping it would solve the problem but doesn't) and Greek font is set to SBL Greek. How can I fix this?

  • Re: Color Schemes

If you have L4 set to use windows default for the background you can set the background color in windows color panel by changing the "window" color. Also "window text" in the color panel will change the resourece text color and "3d objects" will change the text color in tools such as passage guide. These are the only parts of the interface that can
I have noticed in a personal bible where you have tagged the reference for quick lookup the verse number (link) is encoded in the selected color I know its not the ideal situation, but if you have a properly/fully tagged PB Bible it may as a work around until request gets implemented
I am curious

  • visual filter for specific verse

Is there a way to create a visual filter that highlights specific verses? I tried in the find box with a blue highlight to try it and it didn't work.

  • Re: Where is the current layout name stored
My guess is that there is no concept of "current layout" in Logos. Rather, it just a template that is applied when it is selected. Once Logos arranges things according to a saved layout, the current layout has no further association with the saved layout. (basically what Kevin said).
This makes sense. I looked through

  • Re: Where is the current layout name stored
That was Tim's layout manager.
Yes that is correct. I am making some changes so that it automatically creates a list of all the layouts present without you having to tell it what is there and I have figured out how to do this. I have not figured out how to tell what layout is currently being used without the user opening

I know the layouts.db in the layout manager folder contains the names of the layouts but where can I get the name of the current layout that is being used. I need this for a script I am writing.

  • Re: not responding issues

After more experimenting I discovered that it is specifically the capsule before the text that causes the problem. Although this worked before it no longer works now. It does work to have the capsule avbove or below the text. It is probably the displacement of the text as mentioned above. If it is a displacement issue then what I don't get is why it

Ok this issue has something to do with the custom palette I created for Greek verbs when I cahnged the highliter to simple text colors that come with L4 it works fine but when I use the custom palette that I created as in the screen shot in this post it does not work. Is this normal?
You might turn off the filter, do a set group of actions (open and close some resource, scroll one particular resource, run a short search), then note the time and turn it back on, repeat exactly the same actions, then close Logos and send the log file along with the time you activated the visual filter.
