Personally I make it a habit not to index on the card, though I have occasionally when I've been certain it would be trivial.

"We hate the wilderness! Can we go back to Egypt?"
1 This is the chronicle of the many and diverse wanderings of the Logosites, whom BOB delivereth from the bondage of Slow Searches, and of ink and paper. And he was raised as a Prince in the Kingdom of Microsoft, until LOGOS calleth him from a burning hard drive. 2 The cries

I'm certain many would appreciate the work of Harry Blamires. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Blamires At least two of his books are widely known: The Christian Mind ISBN 1-57383-323-1 The Bloomsday Book (A guide through Joyce's Ulysses)

After upgrading from Verbum 5.3 Beta to Verbum 6 the stereo images no longer scale to fit full screen. Exploring this I found that when attempting to export Red-Blue Anaglyph 3D images they are misaligned. This misalignment occurs with Logos Bible Software 5.2b SR-7 (5.2.2.1584) as well.

Alan, I called Faithlife and reported your difficulty, referencing this thread. I also checked my Logos installation and verified that the meta data you are missing - cover image and extra bibliographic information i.e. summary description and citation style - is not available for any resource dependent on the old lsf and lix file pair. This metadata

With Libronix it was possible to configure the color of a KeyLinked data type. Faithlife ( née Logos) preconfigured several principle data types with starkly contrasting primary colors which, with certain lexicons, could result in a display of black main text interspersed with many linked elements colored blue, red, and green. That result was called
How can this happen? How can it be permanently fixed? Please help!
Alan, I believe you have a problem that Faithlife needs solve. Have you requested support from them outside of this community forum? I am put off that no one from support has contacted you!
"how long does this take"?
Writing to SD cards in the manner encountered when installing and configuring Logos can be very very slow. Pastor Huffman, I have been installing Logos Bible Software, version 5, to a microSDXC card and find it works well. Flash memory cards (SD, microSD, memory stick, etc.) are

Thank you.
The issue is not related to SD cards or the main 'flash' HDD
Yes - I was, from experience, anticipating what is likely to follow if Pastor Huffman succeeds in initiating an install to the SD card.
NTFS is the format used by Windows 8 and it is extremely efficient in its use of physical blocks

What I am, and was, most intent to convey is: I believe Logos will perform satisfactorily for many users when installed to an SD card. It has for me without incident for over a year. Pastor Huffman persevere this should (will) work with the Dell Venue also.

To be clear: This is about Faithlife desktop apps - Logos, Verbum, Noet, or Vyrso. This is not about installation to a HDD nor to a SSD. This is not about mobile apps installations. If you have installed one of the Faithlife desktop apps to a memory card (SDXC, Memory Stick, CF , etc.) or to an USB thumb drive, or if you have tried too and abandoned
Was that USB 2 or USB 3 interface?

Is that faster than a built-in microSD card reader?
This Windows 8 based install is used on a late 2010 11inch MacBook Air - so only USB 2 available and no built-in card reader to compare with. Is the logos.com webpage unavailable to anyone else? No problem with other Faithlife webpages - verbum.com, vyrso.com, noet.com, and community.logos.com - they are all available.
