  • Re: Searching for "the old writers" - de oude schrijvers

Thanks you Sascha John for reconnecting this discussion to the Faithlife platform. Most, if not all, of the names should return results. For many of the writers listed you will find multi-volume collections in the Logos web-store. This is a very significant resource: The Christian’s Reasonable Service (4 vols.) by Wilhelmus à Brakel

Milkman, I think you will enjoy, and find it is worthwhile, reading the ten articles at the webpage Oude schrijvers - RD.nl . Using Google Translate I was rewarded reading these short articles about contemporary interest in and engagement with the writings of 17th and 18th century christians.

I am considering three titles currently on sale, especially the first in the list. Are there other treatments of these three subjects you would recommend. • Re: Logos Data Backup

When asking why beginning with Logos 4 a local backup and restore function was not included in the platform design I was thinking only of the ability to backup the license and to restore my libraries exclusive of user-generated data. I think in terms of export/import, or archive, with regard to user-generated data - notes, highlighting, collections

I hope anyone who is concerned about the long-term availability of the resources they have purchased will find ease of thought in this regard. I would appreciate reading the rationale, from Faithlife, for why beginning with Logos 4 a local backup and restore function was not included in the platform design. I have not pressed the question before because I don't like speculation.
