  • Re: Copying verses

Is there a particular application you're trying to use copy/paste in and it's not working? I've used the copy/paste from many apps and never had a problem. If you can't copy and paste into an app, you could try pasting into Word, copying out of Word, and then pasting into whatever app you're using.

Yeah, I already check that out. If there's anything in there to help me, I can't find it.

  • Inserting a Return in Visual Filter

Anybody know how to insert a return character in a custom style for a visual filter? What I'm trying to do is simplify my clausal analysis of a Hebrew text by inserting a return before every Weyiqtol and Wayyiqtol verb. Ideally, I'd like like to insert the return before the vav prefix on the verb, but I'd be happy even if it was inserted between the

  • Re: Is there a way to do this?

That is so slow, but it helped me figure out a way to do what I need. Since I was looking at the Hebrew text, I did a morphological search for nouns and verbs. Now I have a good account of the frequently occurring words that matter. Thanks for your help fgh. Here's what I did:

  • Is there a way to do this?

If I remember correctly, there was a way in Libronix 3.0 to get a list of the words and their frequency in a certain passage. For example, I could run a list for Genesis 12, and get the number of times each word is use...Lord, Abram, bless, etc. I think in Libronix 3.0 is was a vocabulary list. The reason I'm asking is because I'd like to look for repeated

It's worth mentioning that you can bet a Macbook Pro with flash memory - which I believe enables instant on. With the Pro, you can get that faster processor, and probably the most important thing is more screen real-estate. It's not that much bulkier than an Air if you're going to be taking it in your bag anyway. I just don't see a compelling case for

  • Re: Pleased with progress

I'm very close to doing the same. Beta 3 is working very well for me. I'm quite pleased with it, and it's so different than when I started using the Mac version at like A16. It is a lot faster than what I've grown accustomed to while running in Windows via Parallels. I think I'll wait for a couple more Beta releases before making the jump complete,

Wow Robert, thanks for sharing that. I'll have to give it a try tomorrow. Hopefully the wireless doesn't have to be the whole time.

  • Re: New Mac Maybe.

I have a 3 year-old MacBook with 2GB of RAM and have no problem running Logos 4 on Parallels. The ONLY reason I haven't migrated to Mac-only is because there is because of the limited Notes/Clippings functionality in the Mac version. If you already own a copy of Windows then I wouldn't hesitate. However, if you have to buy a copy of Windows then you

  • Re: Export Books to PDF or Pages or Word or TXT [KINDLE]

Pretty sure you can't do that, and probably never will. Just like you cannot read Kindle books on a Sony Reader, you cannot read Logos files in anything other than Logos software. The only way Logos can publish this digital content is to make sure it can not be simply copied and ported to other devices and formats. I too have a Kindle and would LOVE

  • Re: Notes & Clippings in A24?

Please take your time! Honestly, I cannot use Logos 4 Mac until Notes and Clippings are implemented. They are probably my most used feature in Logos. So, to release them prematurely and possibly destroy what I've put together would not be worth getting it sooner rather than later. I'm glad you gave the reason, just for my own curiosity. I've been wondering

  • Visual filter problem

Hey all, I've been seeing this problem lately, and I'm not sure what's causing it. Sometimes I can see my visual filters, other times I cannot. The Hebrew filter that I have set up does not even appear as an option in the drop down menu for BHS. When things are working, I see a "Visual Filter" section on the drop down menu. Any ideas? Here's what things

Thanks Joe. It looks like the only way to make it work is to get a DVD with the resources on it. Too bad. I don't have enough HD space to duplicate all those resources. Thanks for the help though!

One more thing... Is there any way to do regular expressions when searching? For example, I want all OT commentaries. If searching by subject, do I need to specify for each book, as in subject:"Commentaries--OT--Exodus" OR subject:"Commentaries--OT--Genesis" or is there some way to specify a wildcard? I've tried subject"Commentaries--OT*" but it doesn
