It found John 4:2 and others (all together 13 results). Only 4:1 did not.

  • Clause Search in Logos 5 - faulty feature

I made this kind of clause search in Verbum Capstone: subject:Jesus verb:wash; baptize and the program didn't find John 4:1 although it should have I think. Why? In my opinion, there is need of correcting this.

Is this for Logos4 or for Logos5? Is this for the NT only or for the entire Bible?

In some biblical verses, we have God (or Jesus or the angel of the Lord) calling people in this matter (calling the name of that person twice): 1.
You can learn more about Syntax search and how to use it here and here on the wiki, there is a lot of information there if you follow all the links as well. There is a video as well, if you go here and hover your mouse over the playlist vertical bar on the right of the video window, you'll see a list of videos slides out

To do the simple search for "son of" I don't need to have Logos. Very good, Dominick, but I am a beginner in Logos. I need to have detailed instructions. I don't have Anderson-Forbes Phrase Marker Analysis anyway. I own the Dictionary of Biblical Language with Semantic Domains. Could be it useful in this kind of search? Is there any video that deals

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE HE In Mark 6:3, we read: "Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James, and Joses, and Judas, and Simon? Are not His sisters here with us?" Jesus is called here “the son of Mary”. Let’s say, I would like to check if in the entire Bible there is another case where somebody is called „a son of
Dzień dobry! Witaj na forum! Sadly at the moment Logos doesn't have any Polish Bible available. I know that a second Czech Bible translation is almost ready to be published in Logos, so let's hope that in the future at least one Polish version will also be added.
Dzień dobry!
