Anyone using a notes file or files as a whole bible personal commentary? I currently have one large note file for this which started back in Logos 4, I think. But the file has a number of tech problems with it. And I'm thinking about starting over with a new Notes File Configuration. Id appreciate any recommendations on how best to do this? -One note

Thanks Dave. But I have a few note files which are fairly large and manually editing hundreds of entries isn't really practical.

Hi Folks, Around a month or so ago (I'm wondering if this happened during V6 upgrade) virtually all of my Notes Files had all entries duplicated. So my most used Notes File, which is already pretty large, just got 2X larger. Ugh!!! It appears that the notes file is an xml file. So I'm wondering if anyone has come up with any tool for offline editing

This is another vote for Folders or Pull Down Grouped Lists on the SHORTCUT bar. I think it would be nice if you could make the Shortcuts bar larger with multiple rows as well. And last, but not least, I would be cool if the Shortcuts could be resized to be a little larger for high rez screens. Right now I'm using a large number of stacked windows to

Here is one more vote for a speedy implementation of full Logos Notes in Android!!! I hate to do so, but right now, I actually use Kindle for reading and research of some books simply because once I add notes, I can search them and review them.... Id rather do all of that in my absolute favorite Bible Study program- Logos.... but I cant.... sigh

The Android Intro Web site page mentions that Rev Interlinear is available (currently from the way I way I read the web page). However, I can not find any mechanism for turning ON the Rev Int Display. Am I missing something, or is this capability not present yet? thanks, karl

Yea, Ive been using Notes since L3 (which had citation support). Its great that the clippings function supports citations, I'm just suggesting that clippings should too. k

Yea, that might be plan B. But I'm used to using the 4 different note indicators from L3, and was hoping we could have something similar in L4... But admittedly this suggestion is probably insufficiently popular to be accepted... k

Id like to suggest that a configurable Secondary object(s) for note indicator be made available- perhpas a circle instead of a square. This would allow users to use the indicator type (circle, or square, or ...) to represent different types of notes, with out having to look away from the main resource. Thanks for L4, its an awsome product! k

Id like to suggest that the ability to have citations automatically pasted into NOTES (as in L3) is added to L4. thanks for a great product! k

Id like to suggest that the "reference point" for Link Setting within a pane be configurable. For example on many occasions it might be more beneficial to have the verse which is being referenced (in a Link Set across multiple panes) displayed in the middle of the pane instead of at the very top. That is, it would be helpful if one could have the referenced

Configurable item to allow the user to select which type of LOOKUP is triggered by a double click of a word. For example, it might be desirable for some folks to have the double-click trigger a LOOKUP of the Lemma or Strongs Number (or any other Right Click Option) instead of always defaulting to the "surface" SELECTION. Ideally this would be a selection

Are there any plans to provide the Complete Word Study Bible Resource with the same "In-line" Display functions as the other Bibles? thanks, karl
-
Is there a plan to support embedded video playback for resources such as Intro to NT Greek as supported in L3? thanks, k

1) When going from compact to full in notes, have the window display the selected note at the top of the display expanded. 2) Making Notes expandable or compactable on a note by note basis. Having a down arrow "expansion" button on each note. 3) Notes SORT which does alphabetical sorting on notes without reference link (that is for notes manually added

Here is one more vote for porting L4 to the Andriod Operating System. thanks, k

Thank You Graham and Rosie! Thats so cool! Just what I was looking for!!!! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You for the help!!! karl

I agree with the original post in this thread- I prefer the Rev Int in Log3 where I could read more than a few words in a few in the Rev Int... Any chance that view will come back? Or can I at least get the ESV Rev Int Resorce back?

"Synonyms of the NT" looks like it should be a target for keylinking greek words. But that doesnt seem to work. Any ideas on how one would use that book as a keylinked target?

Yep- Thanks to the entire L4 team!!!!
