• Re: Highlight text using touch screen in Windows 11

Unfortunately I don't have a good answer for you. For years I've been using a Surface Go and other tablets for Logos in touch screen mode. The best way I was able to do what you're asking is by using the free program TouchMousePointer. That worked... until Windows 11. I actually bought and returned a Go 3 just last week because of this very reason

Is the above copy/paste bug at all related to the recent changes to the color of highlighted text when copied? I really wish the text were copied as all black (and displayed as white on dark mode) as it was before: I keep having to select all the text in my notes file and changing the font color to "Default" in order to actually read it. :(

  • Re: BUG: Corresponding Notes and Highlights

To anyone who has a similar problem, I fixed this by renaming/deleting two files with Logos closed: \Documents\XXXXXX\NotesToolManager\notestool.db \Documents\XXXXXX\Documents\Notes\notes.db After restarting Logos, it re-downloaded my notes from the cloud, and then all of the corresponding highlights worked.

Ok, I just checked on a different PC, and all of my notes - new and old - are properly corresponding in the different translations. So, the problem is confined to my primary computer. Is there some cache file that I can delete to make this work again?

Here are some more notes that do not show up on the opposite translation. They were made 3 and 6 years ago. I added a new anchor to a random location and then deleted the new anchor. All of a sudden, the old anchor is properly corresponding:

Thanks, JT. I did the same and it works. Probably should have mentioned that. So, new notes are properly corresponding, but many of my old notes are not. I wonder if there is some date cutoff where old notes no longer properly function, but notes created after that date work properly? Perhaps this is related to the notes system upgrade that was done

  • BUG: Corresponding Notes and Highlights

This feature used to work for me. It didn't initially work on Logos 8, but support was added later, according to this page . That accounts for previous forum posts on this feature not working. But now I'm on Logos 9, and I've been noticing this problem for a while. Years ago I switched making notes in NASB95 to ESV. That was no problem when this feature

I hope they fast track restoring this feature! It's cumbersome to manually put in links for each quote when doing heavy research.

  • Re: Church Fathers on sale

I'm wondering the same! However, I found this collection: https://www.logos.com/product/128324/logos-7-church-fathers-library-expansion-l There are some works on here that are crossovers with the Schaff set, but it seems like most of them are not. Can anyone else confirm?

  • Feature suggestions for new interlinears

Faithlife, thanks for the new interlinear Bibles like the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Vulgate! Can you please consider fully integrating them into these two features? Please integrate the Vulgate into the new interlinear Text Comparison tool Please integrate the DSS interlinear in the Information/Translations area:
Send to search should send the passages to the search panel where one can then perform a search on that collection of passages.
Ok, I see that now. I didn't see it limiting my search range - I was looking for the search syntax. Yes, Eli, a change in the wording would help! Thanks guys.

Great feature! This is a much better way to start a search if you don't know how to parse together the search syntax. However, the "Send these results" button doesn't do anything when trying to send the results to the search window. Having that functional would help users like me learn how to do more complex searches.

An overhaul of the arcane search syntax was one of my hopes for Logos 7... something like a visual syntax picker. I hope this is coming someday. :(

  • Re: Logos on i7 Surface Book?

The dual-core Surface book should work just fine. An SSD is the most important factor, IMO. I had a lowly, fanless, M3 Surface Pro 4, and Logos still felt as fast on it as my souped-up desktop. If you're coming from a heavy workstation and want the best you can get in a small package, there is nothing on the market like the Vaio Z Canvas . I switched

  • SUGGESTION: Textual Variant Tool

If you like this suggestion, please vote for the feature on Uservoice . Here is the suggestion: Add a new tool for textual criticism like the "Text Comparison" tool, but on the word-level, rather than on the verse-level. The tool would align each word from a verse into a series of columns. Each row would show how a different Bible version renders that
