It is my understanding that the Dictionary of Classical Hebrew should be of help for inscriptions.
-
Very helpful, MJ. Thank you very much! I plan to include in my handout in tomorrow's Sunday School class, with attribution, of course

So say we ALL ! (Well, almost all )

Liam, I can't imagine how I forgot what might be the best resource of all for your purposes, the Dictionary of Latin Forms ( https://www.logos.com/product/15716/dictionary-of-latin-forms ).
-
Liam, might the Analytical Lexicon of the Vulgate be of interest? https://www.logos.com/product/148408/analytical-lexicon-of-the-vulgate Two additional Logos resources that might help are: 1) Dictionary of the Vulgate New Testament ( https://www.logos.com/product/2138/dictionary-of-the-vulgate-new-testament ); and 2) Lewis and Short's Latin Dictionary

At last, indeed! I bid yesterday. Color me "Impatient"

Kyle, thanks for taking time to give us a glimpse of your planning. And thanks for including the massive Church Dogmatics of Karl Barth as well as the Church Fathers1

Hello, Jim, Undoubtedly you already know about Volume 2, "the other half", of Louw-Nida which places many words in different domains according to sense. But perhaps someone who sees this thread does not know what to make of the superscript letters following many Greek words. When I go to δεσμιος in Volume 1

Thank you for your wonderfully helpful "reminders", Denise. The quotes around "reminders" express the fact that (like many?), "I know that stuff! But I haven't truly internalized it. " Your example from the valley of the Rio Grande is a dandy.

Many thanks, Levi and JT. Now I will have something to play with when I finish my shift at the Food Pantry. Shalom, shalom.
-
Hi,Levi! Once again I could have been more specific. Thanks for answering my second question. My first question is, "How do I find Media images in iPad?"
-
Thank you, JT. I could have been more specific. In particular I am wanting to capture slides like those in the Beitzel collection to insert in Keynote classroom presentations on a large TV screen. Like you, I had discovered the Visual Copy slides. But it's the photographic slides I am after. My work around is really a substitution - simply showing illustrations
-
After some searching in the Fora and on Wiki I couldn't find out if the iPad app. supports Media? In particular, I wonder if I can capture Media slides and insert them in Keynote.
-
Thanks for checking in, Lynden! We're thankful you're safe. May God be praised/thanked! And may the next days and weeks go as well as possible!
-
We are! May the peace of our Lord break through your fear. And if that doesn't happen immediately, Immanuel is still with you, whether or not you feel or otherwise perceive his presence. Shalom, shalom!

One more "Thank you very much" from a long-time customer who has long wondered what the Zondervan Exegetical Commentary looks like.

With thanks to MJ. Smith, who pointed readers of these Fora to the course list from the Pontifical Biblical Institute (aka Biblicum), here is a link to the Institute's "Basic New Testament Bibliography" on its web site: https://www.biblico.it/doc-vari/bibl_nt.html Alert readers may be reminded of Joseph A. Fitzmyer, S.J. earlier "An Introductory Bibliography

Kristin, the ton of suggestions you're getting from experienced and caring Logosians may prove overwhelming. One voice you're not likely to hear unless you contact them directly is "the right person" at your Seminary. I strongly suggest you ask the Seminary Admission Department to put you in touch with someone in their Faculty or on their Staff who

Hello, Kristin, Denise recently resurrected an old post that makes me wonder if you might want to find out from your Seminary if they enable a student discount, and perhaps a special package for their students. https://blog.logos.com/2012/06/is-your-school-a-logos-bible-software-partner/ Vaya con Dios!
