• Re: NEW Dispensational Theology Base Package
I've thought of dispensationalism as a hermeneutical filter rather than a denomination even though it is centered in particular denominations. Therefore, it seems to me to be more appropriately a bundle rather than a base package.
Ultimately, aren't all denominations hermeneutical filters? I would call "Reformed" a

  • Re: NEW Dispensational Theology Base Package
Based on what Gabe Martini said, " Keep in mind, base packages are going to be more specifically defined along denominational/church/traditional lines, while bundles, add-on products, and collections will continue to be marked more specifically to 'viewpoints' (Calvinism, Arminianism, Christology, etc.)." I'm now thinking this would
Though it's a bit dated Abraham Kuypers Lectures on Calvinism would give a fuller perspective on Calvinism as a life-system (far beyond the merely soteriolgical questions TULIP addresses). Though a bit dated, and though it addresses an academic audience, it's still quite readable. BTW, Kuper addresses Reformed soteriology

  • Re: Charles Spurgeon Sermon Index PBB
Hi elnwood, Did you know that Logos now has a sermons section in the passage guide ? This makes it much easier to access Spurgeon's sermons (and some others) through the PG and SSG? Mark
Ah, I did not know that. Thanks for the tip. I just tried it out. It works well! They only index one Scripture reference though

  • Charles Spurgeon Sermon Index PBB

I created a sermon index of Spurgeon's sermons organized by Scripture reference. If you have the Charles Spurgeon Collection, it will link to all of those sermons. You can compile this as a Bible Commentary, and it will show up in your Passage Guide. 0508.Spurgeon Sermon Index.docx Let me know if you find this useful, or if you have any corrections

This is an old discussion, but FYI, the solution is in the Logos Wiki. Go to Table Properties and set a value for the Preferred Width. http://wiki.logos.com/PB_%E2%80%93_Warnings_$26_Errors#Warning_caused_by_Tables

I have been saving a good copy of by Logos index, so that when it crashes and does "first-time indexing," I can restore the old index and not have to do "first-time indexing." The downside is that it's 5 gigs large!

Ah, I see that you are correct. There are some in the series that are structured more by pericope (1 Corinthians, part of the Leviticus commentary), but mostly they are mongraphs.

  • Sheffield/T & T Clark Bible Guides-- Monographs?!?!?

It's a 44 volume commentary set, and, you guessed it, they are all classified as monographs, and they don't have any Bible milestones. Can we fix this?
He is probably the furthest away from dispensationalism, although he does agree with dispensationalism that there will be a millennium.
Yes, John Piper is premillennial, but premillennialism does not mean dispensational. Premillennialism was the dominant eschatology in the early church, but dispensationalism didn't come until the 19th

Royalties have to go to both the original authors and the translator(s) as well. One thing you could do is save up and get it as part of a base package like Biblioteca Premier.
