On the list of resources coming to Logos, I only see the study Bible commentaries listed. Will the Greek and Hebrew dictionaries be coming too? The Greek Grammar? The Gospel Parallels? The Interlinear?
-
I am shocked that this is not in Logos. Please get it, and his translation of Four Prophets as well.

This is Kostenberger's announcement: https://www.biblicalfoundations.org/letter-dr-kostenberger/ As I understand his statement, he did not find the errors, but someone else brought it to his attention. And while he contacted the publishers, it was the publishers' decision to pull the volumes, not his.

Speaking of plagiarism, Köstenberger, the new New Testament editor, had his John commentaries in the Baker Exegetical Commentary Series and Zondervan Illustrated Bible Backgrounds Commentary Series pulled for plagiarizing Carson's commentary. Given that EEC has already had one commentary pulled for plagiarism, Köstenberger seems like an odd

Yes, I noticed later that Accordance left out some resources. It is ironic that their Complete Biblical Library is incomplete ...

The exclusivity has ended. I just saw the Complete Biblical Library announced in an email from Affordance.

FYI, Judges is now in Logos BHQ. Currently, it has Deuteronomy, Judges, Ruth, Proverbs, Canticles, Qoheleth, Lamentations, Esther, Ezra, and Nehemiah. It's still missing the Minor Prophets.

Wow, forget politics and celebrity deaths, this is the #1 reason 2016 was a doozy of a year!

Assuming you bought those other Zondervan products direct from Logos, I believe if you talk to a sales representative, you can buy the bundle and return the products that you had already owned. I think I've done this before. They're willing to extend the return policy if you're just going to buy it again.

I agree. I want the Commandments of the Law for $5.99, but as it is, I don't see enough value in spending hundreds on a Logos 7 package. Unfortunately, the Logos marketing strategy has always been to bundle items in order to force people to buy things they don't want in order to get the item(s) that they really want.

GOG's wishlist does this too.

[quote user="Sean"] For me, this illustrates a problem with many of the community pricing offerings: the bundles are too big with too much filler. If this were half or a quarter the size with just the more important Bibles like Geneva, Wycliffe, Tyndale, and a few others, I might pay $15 or $20 for it. But $30 for a bunch of versions I will likely never

I just did a comparison of the first ten chapters of Genesis. There were 15 differences that I saw. realized => realised that forever => for ever (2x) toward => towards (4x) backward => backwards afterward => afterwards favor => favour (2x) labor => labour centers => centres added "for" in the verse "rain fell on the earth FOR forty days and forty nights

The other thing that I don't like about BestCommentaries.com is that it doesn't classify commentaries. It says nothing about what commentary is the best for a given audience. In contrast, Longman's work classifies commentaries as being for pastors, scholars, or laypeople. Richard Bauckham has the best commentary on 2 Peter/Jude -- great for students
