• A15 - Arrows on 'roll-up' areas

I think this is a change from previous builds, but the arrows on the 'roll-up' titles seem 'wrong' to me. From my understanding of UI conventions, I would expect them to point to the right when the information is hidden and _down_ when the information is on display. However, in A15 the arrows point _up_ when the information is displayed. If that explanation

  • A15 - suggestion list in search window

There are a couple of issues with the display of the suggestion list in the search window. First, it needs a drop shadow like the equivalent list in the Bible Word Study window. As it is it is hard to see what is happening as all the visual elements fade into each other. Compare these two screenshots: Second, residual artefacts from the suggestion list
WHERE'S A15 ?? If anyone finds it let me know!! I WANT IT!!
See Cameron's post, above:
As the Alpha progresses, more and more people are depending on it, so, despite the Alpha nature of the process, we're trying to maintain at least consistent stability.
We're working really hard on it. We've moved more developers internally from the Windows team to the Mac team, and we've even set up a second "SWAT team" to help get things done faster; this effectively doubles the Mac development team. (These extra team members joined in the last four weeks; Alpha 14 was the first in which

  • A14 - Inconsistent panel menus

Sometimes the drop down menus for each panel lose some of their content, compare the screenshots: This *might* be a feature, but -if so - I can't work out when the zoom controls and link sets should appear and when they should not.

  • Re: Small UI Tweak Suggestion

I believe the handling of the tabs could be improved overall. The 'X' for closing isn't in the most logical place, but the bigger problem is the way that the tabs change their size in an unpredictable way. Sometimes there's just an icon with a book cover, sometimes theres the product code and sometimes there's a fuller title. Where tabs have been implemented

Sure, there's more I will be able to do when (God willing) the software is developed further and for some people A14 feels like a regression stability-wise. For me , there's enough working for the majority of the

Please. If we have to have start up music, could we have the option to turn it off, please? L4 is a study tool. Do you expect a few well-chosen chords when you pick up a hammer or pull a concordance off the bookshelf?

I can't get 'Send to Keynote' to work in Biblical People. Is this me? The command opens the Keynote program, but doesn't import the graphic. I can copy and paste the image into keynote and 'Send to Powerpoint' works as expected ...

Thanks for fixing the linespacing issue with 'Lord' when written in small caps. There's another I've spotted. I *think* it's linked to the chapter number as it appears at the start of each chapter:

I can't turn the Red Letter setting off either. The release notes for A14 did say that not all of the settings were functional yet. Perhaps we've found one that isn't!

Great suggestions! May I add keyboard shortcuts to this list? I find that I'm fastest using my Macbook using a combination of the keyboard and trackpad gestures and and have virtually given up using a mouse for anything. Logos 4 is great, but the ability to use it quickly is affected by the constant switching between using the trackpad as a pointer
