The panel that pops up when you right click on a word often floats half off the screen: On my MacBook I need to scroll the view until the word I'm interested in is nearly at the bottom of the screen before I get the whole panel.

Spot on! Thanks.
Take a look at this shot, for example.
Ben, that's the one area where I agree that readability has been significantly affected and should be addressed by converting the font to black rather than just a darker grey. That issue aside, I prefer the contrast between the title bars and the darker window background versus the white

Great suggestions! May I add keyboard shortcuts to this list? I find that I'm fastest using my Macbook using a combination of the keyboard and trackpad gestures and and have virtually given up using a mouse for anything. Logos 4 is great, but the ability to use it quickly is affected by the constant switching between using the trackpad as a pointer
Yep, I haven't really addressed fonts much yet (as I just started working on the UI about a week ago). I'm trying to start on the outside and work my way in, So you'll see some more chrome-level changes in the next alpha, but I'm getting there!
I'm looking forward to the next alpha already! Keep up the good
How are you getting to this option? Nothing happens when I right click in Biblical People.
Right click in the white space near the diagram. In the screenshot below I clicked just below Herod's name:
We're working really hard on it. We've moved more developers internally from the Windows team to the Mac team, and we've even set up a second "SWAT team" to help get things done faster; this effectively doubles the Mac development team. (These extra team members joined in the last four weeks; Alpha 14 was the first in which
Logos 4 for Mac is not usable on daily basis for study.
I'm using L4 for Mac on a daily basis for study. Sure, there's more I will be able to do when (God willing) the software is developed further and for some people A14 feels like a regression stability-wise. For me , there's enough working for the majority of the

I believe the handling of the tabs could be improved overall. The 'X' for closing isn't in the most logical place, but the bigger problem is the way that the tabs change their size in an unpredictable way. Sometimes there's just an icon with a book cover, sometimes theres the product code and sometimes there's a fuller title. Where tabs have been implemented

This is reproducible. The screenshot says it all:
WHERE'S A15 ?? If anyone finds it let me know!! I WANT IT!!
See Cameron's post, above:
As the Alpha progresses, more and more people are depending on it, so, despite the Alpha nature of the process, we're trying to maintain at least consistent stability. Occasionally, this requires us

I've noticed this as well. It's as if the application is hidden whenever it's not the current application.

I know nothing about programming. So I don't know whether this helps, but the Mac OS X version of the Online Bible uses the OS X 'Services' menu to facilitate importing Bible passages into documents. This works in Pages. So I guess it should be possible to implement for L4 too.

Me too!
Uh, was their an update or something?
I'm not running Growl so I don't know whether anything's been downloaded, but L4 has started indexing again. I downloaded A15 on the release date too. Yet this Saturday the Indexer fired up and ran for 2 hrs 10 mins. I've no idea why it needed to reindex at that point!? I guess this is what running Alpha software is about ...
