• Re: Deleting notes, clippings etc.

Try right-clicking on its name. This should bring up a contextual menu including the option to delete the item.

  • Re: How do I know if A22 is indexing?

If the blue Logos logo is in the menubar then Logos 4 is downloading or indexing. If it is not in the menubar, then it is not indexing or downloading. A22 didn't appear to require a reindex ... for me anyway. If there was a problem with indexing the library, then Logos 4 should restart the indexing when you open the application.

  • Re: Can we please get access to notes
Notes is a complex tool that connects with all the other tools.
In addition, many Mac users already have a lot of notes which will sync from the PC side and the dev team have said that they want to make sure that any implementation of notes in the Mac alpha is robust enough to ensure that we don't lose any data. No that
to have that on my iPhone so it's always with me is awesome so when I'm sitting on the training I can read my prayer list and prayer for the 30 minute train ride
You could use something like Things for a prayer list for use on the train. It's designed as a task manager, but is versatile enough for almost any list

  • Re: program installation problem

Hi Terry Welcome to the forum. I *really* hope this isn't stating the obvious, but have you dragged the application from the install disk to your Applications folder on the hard drive? Then you can eject the disk and run Logos 4 from the Applications folder. Lots of software for the Mac is installed this way, but most installer disk images give you

  • Re: A18: Speed question

Everything I've read about the progress of the PC beta reassures me that the product will speed up during the beta stage; the alpha stage is generally about adding new features.

I second this. Every new alpha has been a new adventure and the product is coming together nicely.
seeing those features made me consider upgrading
You're not alone! I've just brought forward my planned upgrade from 'Bible Study' to 'Scholar's' and am enjoying all the extra resources ... trouble is, we aim (God willing) to move house the day after tomorrow and I should be packing stuff up not 'playing' on the computer

  • Re: Feature Request: Reading View Columns

This is a feature which would really help for when we just need to read, not study. It might be best if there was an option where the screen was laid out in facing pages which can be 'turned' rather than a scrolling screen (I'm thinking of something like iBooks ). This would avoid all the issues with vertical/horizontal scrolling, columns, etc.

Okay, it's a bit disappointing, but I guess you would call that a "feature"!

Is this me? 'Passage Analysis' was listed on the 'Tools' menu under the 'Passage' sub-heading. It seems to have gone:

  • Re: Should I buy

Should you buy? Does the software do what you *need* now? Does it promise to do what you *want*? Are you comfortable using alpha software? If you can answer 'yes' to all of the above, then go for it and enjoy the ride! If not, then wait until the software (or you) are ready.
Should we be expecting more?
Yes. Here's what I get on the iPhone: Like, the desktop version, you can click on a segment and see a list of the passages where the word is used.

Welcome to the L4 Mac forum! I use a PC laptop for work and have a MacBook at home. I'd recommend the MacBook every time. They're much better products running a much better OS. However, Logos 4 for Mac is still not yet complete. The main gaps are listed under point 5 in the FAQ (see the link in my signature, below). Short term you'll be able to access
