I still think Logos is great software, but I am feeling a little left in the "wilderness"...
I don't work for Logos and have no affiliation with the company. I don't want to be labeled as a Logos 'fanboy' and certainly wouldn't attempt to defend everything
the catch is...you must have all the marks and accents correct or it will fail...
This is why the context menu is so great. I can never remember where the accents go!

Robert - It would help the development team at Logos if you could send your logs to understand what is happening here. There's a link to the Guide for Reporting Bugs in my signature. Let's give 'em the information they need to sort the problem out!

So it's not just me. That's reassuring! Would the Mac development team have a look at this, please?

  • cmd-W

The answer to this is probably obvious to everyone else, but is there any way of telling which panel will close when I press cmd-W? I can't see anything which indicates the current focus and therefore keep closing the wrong panel by mistake!

Here's another way: Go to System Preferences > Language & Text > Input Sources, turn on the Greek keyboard (circled in the screenshot below) and makes sure that you've selected the 'Show Input menu in menu bar' button (see arrow, below): When you've done this you can switch keyboards from the menu bar: And use the Keyboard viewer while you learn which

[Oops! I've pressed the 'Post' button too early!] The context menu is a mine of functionality. I've enjoyed exploring it.
Look, folks. Lemma searching works on the right-click
Oh, I'm sorry Alan! It's been working for a bit. I've been using this since I purchased the base pack at (I think) A12 ... if only I'd known you were looking for it!

  • Re: A16 - Interlinear mouse-over feature

I think the answer to this question (like so many others) is that the expected functionality will be implemented in the fullness of time, but it's not there in the current alpha release.
Somehow (and I am sure it was me) a total of 8 Untitled Guide entries are showing up ...
Me too! Except that I only had two 'Untitled Guides'. I loaded L4 in Windows (haven't done that in a while) and deleted them there. I think that's the only way you get rid of them at the present.

This is something that you can only change in the Windows version at present. So you've got a lot of reading to catch up on, I'm afraid!

  • A16 - Thank you

I'd like to register my thanks for all the hard work that has gone into the production of L4 for Mac so far. The application is developing quickly and new features are being added much faster than I expected. In particular on this release, the application itself seems to be running faster. For example, I use the contextual menu a lot to drill down into

  • A16 - Biblical People

I know the release notes mention a problem with the zoom not being limited by the area available, but this seems to be a different issue. All the people in the chart gather together to the top left corner whenever 'Fit' is selected. Please see the screen capture below. Do you need to see my log files?

  • Installation Disk Image

I downloaded today's alpha manually and I have two issues with the disk image. These may seem trivial, but the disk image is for many the first experience of Logos software. 1. At first glance it is not clear which of the blue squares is the application icon and which is your logo: 2. It is good practice to provide a shortcut to the Applications folder
