This is a known issue that should be resolved in the next Beta update.
Latest beat installed. Problem solved. Thanks.

I'm running Logos 4.3 Beta 8 (4.30.0.0882) on OS X 10.6.7. The "Interesting Words" and "Topics" guides are not working. I can enter a passage and the spinner whirls for a few seconds, but the result is always a blank window: Is this a problem with my install or an issue with the beta?
-
Interesting Words seems to be broken in the latest beta. The 'wordle' displays okay, but I'm unable to to click on a word to show the list of which verses it appears in.
-
Also, could you post a screenshot?
I'm using the built in screen on a 13" Macbook. Here's a screenshot: And zoomed in:
It could just be me
No. It's me too. Hopefully this is a big enough issue for a quick bug-fix release. I'll be a pain living with this for a fortnight (hint, hint!!)
-
Thanks for the quick response. I'll try not to create too many user-defined searches until the next beta arrives ... ;-)

Hi - I'm clicking on the 'Delete' icon (arrowed, below), but the range doesn't delete. It just gets selected:

Me too. Get's me every time I'm in a hurry ...
When Logos opens with unexpected small screen size, quit Logos, and post Logos4.log file (suggest compressing file before posting).
Logos 4 opened. Window still small. Closed the program. Logos4.log file attached: 5277.Logos4.log.zip

Another option might be SuperDuper which can produce a bootable copy of your existing hard drive.
Now, if you simply update your layouts with the window sizes you desire, everything will work as expected. And all new layouts will do the right thing.
Thanks. I've done this and my layouts are all fine, but I start L4 up with the home page showing and this reverts to a small window each time.
-
Me too. It also reverts to the small window whenever I select a layout from the menu.
The system rebuilds the list(s) each time you click the parallel resources button.
This is a prime example of something that should be cached by Logos 4 to speed up display.
-
I think the screenshot is self-explainatory. Logs attached. The problem rectified itself on restarting the Logos 4 application. . 221625.Archive.zip

I haven't tried this, but the iPhone app probably performs a sync with the server as it is opened. Have you tried closing and reopening the iPhone app when you've finished using it to force a sync?
I'm actually using Beta 7.
The Interlinear pane has been implemented since Alpha 21. Are you using a Bible that doesn't have the reverse interlinear resources?
-
This crash is repeatable. I'm looking for 'Interesting Words' in Jeremiah 49. The English search works, the Hebrew crashes L4. Logs attached: 70811.Archive.zip
Are you referring to the wider gap between the first and second lines compared to subsequent lines?
Yes.
-
Could you take another screen just like that but with the entire Logos 4 window. I'd like to reproduce what you are doing.
Tommy - Here's the screen shot. The mouse is hovering over 'rising' in v7:
-
Me too. This has been a consistent problem since early in the development process.
