  • Re: Displaying Latin translation in Book of Concord (Tappert edition)

Hi Milford, Thanks for your quick reply. Apologies if I didn't make it clear, but I am looking for the translation of the Latin in my Logos resource, not the original language text itself. The translation that is currently displayed in Logos comes from the German text only, so effectively only shows half of Tappert's work (the hard copy of Tappert which

Hi Rosie, Thanks for that explanation. I couldn't find the resource on the Logos site either - I'll send support an email to see what my options are for getting a copy. M.

Interesting, Ken. I bought Luther's Works online so the resources available may have changed slightly. I've emailed Logos, will let you know what happens. Because I already had 2 copies of Tappert (+ 2 of the Bekenntnisschriften) I didn't think I needed Kolb-Wengert as well . Thanks, M.

Thanks Don, yes it seems like such a simple thing but it is very frustrating when you often paste into notes. Hopefully Logos can fix it soon.

Hi Chris, When I first upgraded to Logos 6 the spellchecker was working, but now I am experiencing the same problem. I am using Logos 6.1.0.0016 on Windows 8.1. I followed your instructions and this is the result: As you can see I checked that the spellchecker was activated in the program settings. I also tried changing the setting to "no", restarting

Hi George, Thanks for the quick reply. This would suit my needs if the page number always displayed in the reference bar, but this doesn't appear to be the case in Logos 6? Please try this: Open a resource which displays text rather than page numbers by default (maybe a dictionary?). In my case I am looking at BDAG, which by default shows the name of

[quote user="Mark Barnes"]But Logos know that many resources (particularly older ones) don't have the Heading Text field, which is why they introduced the Large Text field. This is automatically applied by the indexer to text over a certain size, and doesn't require tagging. It's a workaround for resources without heading tagging, and usually works

  • Bug: sermon editor not retaining occasion date

Hi, I emailed this to Logos bugs but never received a reply. I have done a search in the forums and can't find the issue mentioned so will post it here. When I prepare a sermon, I enter the preaching date in the "occasions" field, along with the venue name. While the venue name is retained, the date either disappears totally, or is changed to some random
