The bugs don't apply to me so I'm skipping this release.
Me too. Unfortunately, if one orders a book between now and the next release, one will be forced to download it anyway to get to the book. Faithlife, when are you going to fix that design flaw?

  • Re: Logos Now Free Books: One Volume From a Set Missing

Can't say for sure, but you could try putting the one volume in the cart and using the code anyway to see if it works. The new Faithlife Books store has a lot of problems. The particular set I'm completing doesn't even show up in the list of eligible books, but if I put it in my cart on logos.com, the code works with it.

  • July 2018 Preview: Vol. 1 of Barth's Dogmatics

The preview resource* for Logos Now/FL Connect this month is the first volume (in 2 parts) of Karl Barth's Church Dogmatics (CD). I know that because of some terrific sales, many people now have CD. If you don't, and if you're at all interested or curious about Barth and his theology, let me recommend this as something you should read. If you want to

  • Re: Free Books??

I already own Dogmatics, so I got no download. (I also have Connect Essentials, for a little while at least.) Do you have Verbum Now? The other titles look like they could go with it. (I'm guessing, seeing that there is no "Orthodox Now".) Curious that the licenses are all showing as permanent.
I was able to get my 'Classic' book for May but not a FaithLife 'Original'. Hopefully it will be activated soon.
I got my original. The selection is very limited. There was only one title that interested me.
On a similar line, I went ahead and got my free "classics" book--a series I'm trying to complete before my subscription runs out. This is the first time doing it through ebooks.faithlife.com rather than logos.com The author (Francis Hall) was not listed in the side bar results narrower. I had to search manually for him, but the coupon

  • Re: Free book of the month - wrong book?

Looks like the Hebrews one was offered as a +.99 in July of 2015, so maybe that one's the mistake.

If they sent you a coupon, why wouldn't you want to use it?
They didn't actually send a coupon.
My apologies; I misread the original OP. Yeah, it probably was a mistake, though logos.com did send one out like that once with a coupon.

  • Re: Anyone seen Bavinck's Reformed Dogmatics on sale before?
Been thinking to get Bavinck's RD for a long time, just hoping there would be a sale someday. But has it ever gone on sale though?
I got it for $115 and have seen it for $99--in 2013. If you can wait, a Reformed Logos 8 library might be a good way to pick it up.
This is what the system asked when restarting Logos after update:
I don't know anything about your atlas problem, but the system dialog request is normal when installing a new version, and you should click "Oui."

  • Re: Forum hacked!

It hasn't been hacked. It is been spammed by bots. One limitation FL has is that, with its global customer base, it can't block IP addresses, one common way of dealing with spam. It could, however, put a limit on how many new threads a new user can start after registration, though at this point I don't know how much even that would help.

  • Re: Why is Logos always updating and indexing

Go into Tools-->Program Settings. Scroll down and turn automatic updates to "Off". Life will be better. Note: It may take a few restart cycles before all the current indexing stops. I then suggest downloading the updates once a week or month as per your convenience and when you don't need your computer for some time. Program updates usually come
Same here. And are there seriously only 21 titles to choose from or is there a problem with my account or something?
On the one hand it is only the first and a rather major holiday so the "refresh" might not be done yet. I'd give it some time. On the other hand--it is a very limited list to begin with. • Re: Non-Evangelical Systematic Theology and Theology Resources

Big topic! I'll give a few suggestions now but may try to write more later. The Big 5 of Western theology across the ages are very widely agreed upon: Augustine, Thomas Aquinas, Calvin, Schleiermacher, Barth. That right there is a lot of reading so you'll have to be selective and use guides particularly for Augustine. Get into Calvin's Institutes and
