Where do I find that information with Logos 8?
Look under your Library. Scroll down the left-hand Filter panel all the way down to "Added."
I still see the option just as I did in L7.
Let me illustrate with a few screenshots. This is a book where the option is now available--but it only came up after I manually downloaded on the mobile: This is what most informational panels now look like unless I had previously downloaded it at some point on my phone

  • Desktop-->Mobile Device Option No Longer in Information?

Hi. In previous versions of Logos, you could go into the information panel of a resource and check a box to have it automatically download to your phone/tablet/whatever using the mobile app. (You could also use the same to remove it from the device.) In L8, if a book is already on my phone, it shows the "Devices" information, but if it hasn't been downloaded

  • Re: Logos 8 Feedback

Overall, Logos 8 is quite good. The performance improvement is especially appreciated. I like the new look and interface, though the home page needs a lot more functionality. (You know that, though, and I can wait.) Version 8 of the web app has been improved dramatically. I really think this is one point you need to be promoting more. On the other hand
Smarter boundaries and dateless plans are the most important missing features, IMO. I'd use Reading Plans very regularly if they had these two features.
Yes. Except for Bibles, I mostly ignore the boundaries in my reading plans (always auto-generated; I don't have the patience to manually create custom ones). I mostly

  • Re: Priortize Theology?

I don't think prioritization would have any significant effect. They don't have identical structures the same way Bibles or commentaries do.
I don't think it is searching all theology resources- until it does the guide is not very useful.
At this initial stage, you are sadly correct.

  • Re: Logos 8 is here—and on the web!

I have not used the web app in quite some time. Just really didn't have much need for it. I opened the new version 8 app today. All I can say is, "Wow." I can see myself using this much more in the future. Good job!
Entering Original Sin should show you this:
Sorry to go there again, but I was curious as I am right now studying this topic in Berkouwer's Studies in Dogmatics . Again, this series of entries shows the LST and the Guide need a lot of work. To begin with, I don't see any reference to the fact that there is a major difference

Seconded; please restore this. Also please restore the ability to open just the Lectionary rather defaulting to your gargantuan layout.
i agree! I prefer we have the option to just open the lectionary itself.
I see we do have the means of changing the default layouts that open: So that's nice
That would be great! Not sure if you could also list the readings on the card like the box in Verbum 7 had? That way we can see what the Scripture passages are from the card itself without having to open the card to see the list (opening the card would actually show the passage), but if the card could have the scripture listing
Are the n.n.n (e.g. 4.2.1 or IV.ii.1) the Milestones for the Institutes?
Yeah references to the Institutes are all standardized that way like Bible versification. I'm sure the guide will work with whatever translation(s) you have.

  • Re: Library too big for my hardrive: what to do?
I've stopped using Logos on my laptop because I kept running out of space (especially when indexing) due to all the resources I have. Do I have any alternative solutions to download only a portion of them? I read that the indexes can be made smaller (?), but I'm not sure that even that will help. I think my Logos was taking upwards

Interesting. I got this title as part of Reformed Bronze: https://www.logos.com/product/164974/encyclopedia-of-the-reformed-faith It download to my library, but it shows up on this list as "under development". Why is that?

  • Re: Theology Guide (Verbum 8) - not showing Catholic resources?

I've not explored the Guide thoroughly (I really don't want to spend much time with it until it goes through a few revisions). The recommended readings seem mixed. In some articles, they don't list any systematic theologies; in others they do. I noticed in some areas of the Doctrine of God they did cite Augustine and Thomas Aquinas, so there is that
As one interested in the lower level packages, Anglican Silver is looking the best right now. In L6 I went for Reformed & Verbum, L7 Methodist, so this looks like the best to round out my library mix.
I'm quite happy with Anglican Silver. Checking the other denominational packs, I see I can get Reformed Bronze quite

Oh that's quite good news, Bradley. While at the moment I'm fine on HD space, this would help a lot of people in different scenarios. I'd also suggest (again) that you make an option of downloading new resources separate from program updates. For various reasons, there are times when people want to just get at the new books they bought without having

It's been a long-standing request to restore this feature to Logos. I've not seen any indication that it has changed. FaithLife seems reluctant to do anything about.

I've not spent enough time with the LSoT to do a full evaluation but:
it is not a Protestant/Roman Catholic divide as that is not where the divide falls.
