I probably would set up a non-administrator account different to the one I tend to use
Good point, well made and gratefully accepted. Rosie, I apologise. I found a couple of naughty cookies were at fault. So I guess no, they can't access my data unless I'm careless with my surfing. The next question is, where would I look
There's no access to your account to purchase more books or get at your credit card info or anything.
Really? I find that even if I sign out of my Logos account online, and tell Firefox not to remember anything, then as soon as I click on my email address in Logos it opens up my account online. That's what I'm worried

  • Re: export part of notes

Hi Dirk, The only thing I can think of is to open a new note file for Romans and drag-and-drop the notes across. Then you should be able to export the Romans note. Sorry if this isn't quite what you were after.

  • How do I stop Logos automatically signing in (permanently)

I know you can press CTRL when clicking the icon in order to trigger the sign-in request, but how do I permanently make it ask for a password? My PC always asks for one, oddly, which is fine. But my laptop (which gets borrowed by a couple of other people) always signs itself in. Is it possible to turn this off?
I am certain you will find that the time it takes you to do this makes $20seem like a bargain.
Good point, well made. But what I mean is the outline notes are not the things that are worth the tagging - the textbook (which is also free on his website) is the resource that would be more useful for $20. I'm just concerned that

  • Re: You Can Understand The Bible Seminar

Normally I'm prepared to pay for the pricer books on Logos, but because this particular resource is merely seminar outline notes $20 seems way way too much. I could understand it for the Textbook (which is the notes plus content) but not for the notes, as they aren't any use on their own.
Have you considered getting a base package, which includes this resource?
Hi, yes. Sorry I didn't mention that I do have a base package but I was curious to see how much it costed on its own. And my eyebrows haven't quite come down off the ceiling yet.

  • You Can Understand The Bible Seminar

Why is Bob Utley's " You Can Undestand The Bible Seminar " (which in fact is just outline notes) priced at nearly $20? The notes are all available online for free, with the accompanying textbook and video. I know that the true cost of e-books is the subject of a very long running debate , and maybe I'm missing something. Not trying to have a go, I'm

Personally I would find the "Book of Mormon", the "Pearl of Great Price" and the "Doctrine and Covenants" very useful, but not sure about the rest?

I was in at $40 and it was a nice Easter present for it to drop this

  • Thessalonians on CP - strange pricing issues?

Yesterday the price of the Thessalonians commentary ( http://www.logos.com/product/15974/classic-commentaries-and-studies-on-thessalonians) was at $9 and the graph was off the scale. My $9 said "successful". But now it's back to $18 and my $9 will fail. Anyone else have this issue or am I missing something?
