How can the interlinear window be customised to display only the lines required? e.g. Surface, MSS, etc. When viewing a Logos tutorial I noticed that the interlinear display was different. Thanks.

  • Re: Logos 4.0a SR-1 & SR-2 Release Notes

There appears to be a problem from this release. Logos 4 crashes when I go to open it! I understand there is a fix for this problem, is it possible to get quick access to this fix, without having to wait for the Logos server to tell me about it and allow me to download it? Thanks.

Here is the window with "righteous(ness)" highlighted. It is this highlighting that will not clear.

Is there a way to place a "Snagit" picture in a forum message?

  • Re: Highlighting?

The Highlighting is in Word Biblical Commentary which is in a floating window. Also any volume I open in that floating window has righteousness highlighted. Even when I close the floating window and open WCB again I still have the problem! I probably was using the search function.

  • Highlighting?

When doing a Basic search on a number of books for "righteous" a few day ago, that word was appropriately highlighted in the books that I opened. However i no longer need to have that word highlighted, but I a cannot clear the highlighting, even after powering down a few times. Is ther something that needs to be done to clear highlighting when it is

  • Copying Verses?

In Logos 3 it was possible to enter a string of references the window and all the verses would be copied at the same time. When attempting to do the same thinn in Logos 4 it does not work. Has anybody heard if this feature will be afailable at a later date?

  • Text to PowerPoint?

When using the "Copy Bible" function into PowerPoint, the text is placed into a new slide and not into the slide where the cursor is located. As it does in Word. Is there any way in which the copy function can be set to copy verses into the active slide, where the cursor is located?

  • Re: Enlish Words & Originals?

David and Mark, Thanks. I think that will meet the need. In relation to the "ring" is there a way for the popup ring (displayed when hovering over one part of the 'main' ring") to be held so that it can be copied?

  • Enlish Words & Originals?

Is there is a process in Logos 4 that will show an English word and list the original different Greek or Hebrew words that are translated into this particular English word? Thanks. Martin.

  • Re: Searching

I am in Basic. I search "Dictionaries" for "Saul" and I get four items in "Look it up" at the top, then under "Library results" is a list of 'hits' from different resources including "Nelson's New Illustrated Bible Dictionary", however I canno open the dictionary.

  • Re: Searching

Hi Damian, Thanks for your comments they were helpful. However I still do not get what I am looking for. I created a collections called "Dictionaries" but I want to study a word and not a reference. It appears that to get one of the "Collections" in this search or guide I can only use Reference, not Word. Say I want to look up "woman" in dictionaries

  • Searching

Is there a way in Logos 4 to search on a topic and restrict the searhing to a specific group of books, say "Dictinaries" or "Commentaries" etc? Martin.

  • Re: Exegetical Guide

Thanks for the comments. I think you are right, it is in the Word Study Guide. In my effort to climb the learnign curve with Logos 4 I somehow thougth the "ring" was in EG.

  • Exegetical Guide

There appears to be a difference in the results the EG gives for an OT reference comparted with an NT reference. For example the NT gives teh "word ring" in the "Word by Word" section. From this one can do an Englishman's search. However in the OT there appears to be no equivalent "ring". Or have I missed something?
