• Re: Grant Horner's Bible Reading Plan in Logos

The long term of the plan crashes on my phone and tablet. I'll have to test a shorter one later this week.

I think I figured out how to share the final reading plan, so I won't bore anyone with the details for creating it, other than to note I created a 10-year plan from the 100-year (!) PDF linked above. So, if you want a shorter plan, just abandon

If you want the steps I intend to use, see this reply to a thread from a couple of years ago (should still work): https://community.logos.com/forums/p/156538/944872.aspx#944872 . If you want to try and are able to convert the PDF in Braxton
Obviously, the pricing MUST come down. I have no idea why anyone would want to have the fruit of months and years of research and laborious composition published by a publisher like Brill...it's quite a lot like sending your children into isolation and exile, never to be heard from again.
Two contrasting possibilities

By the way, if you still have Win7, see this reply to this thread (April, 2019) for information about upgrading to Win10 free: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/181032/1047105.aspx#1047105 I had bought a couple of refurbished desktops that still had Win7 just after the free Win10 upgrade window had (officially) closed. I was happy to see that post

Thanks. I've decided that for Piper, I'll do my own PB of sermon metadata that points to the audio/transcript web site.

My impression is that the Piper archive is poorly tagged. Content aside (generally no argument there), what's the opinion of current owners?

  • Re: Removing the apocrypha...

In the recesses of my frequently faulty memory, there's recollection of a Program Setting in Logos to filter out the Apocrypha. It would have been in the earlyish days of my use, probably L4, but maybe L3. I never used the filter (irrespective of my theological view), and I don't remember when it fell away. Anyone else remember this?

Hi Ken: Welcome to the Logos user forums. To add to what David provided, the NT of the Lexham English Bible is also available (free), as are a few KJV books (individually @ $5 per). Until your NKJV becomes available (if it does), you might consider purchasing a higher-quality computer voice. The general consensus I have gathered on the forums here,

On that page, there's a Save button way down at the bottom; click it after editing your signature. Then scroll up to the top and check the confirmation message, just in case you entered a signature too long (hyperlink characters count against the allotment). Interesting that the Faithlife Profile page, where you change your picture, etc., doesn't have
