  • Re: Package buying tactics

I have a medium-sized library (~4600 non-PB resources accumulated over 10 years). I have long speculated on the same theory, but I have not formally analyzed it. My natural tendency is to 'side-grade' here and there to build a library. I'm not a pastor or student, so I have general interests. It has always 'seemed' less expensive that way.

Well, if I hadn't sworn off Logos 8 predictions, i would note some confluences/convergences, like the RC & final for 7.19 being shooed out the door at together at mid-week. Or big sale(s) ending at odd times (tomorrow; I read in another thread, didn't validate). And this Easter egg. The only thing missing is a cryptic post by Dan Pritchett with

  • Re: Feature Request for Mobile Application: Library Filtering

Another nice touch for the mobile library panel would be to use the user-edited titles for sorting. The user-edited titles display, but title sorting is internal, using the titles from the original metadata. Or, make it a Settings option.

  • Re: reuse personal books in case of computer formatting

A few more points on this issue: Some PBs are too large to upload. If you have PBs you compiled several years ago, recompiling them can trigger the dreaded compile-stopping 'empty article' error, which is simple enough to remedy, but extremely annoying when compiling several docx files into one PB. Backing up the compiled PB (in addition to the docx

This also happens with the LEB NT and the audio-tagged Confessions of St. Augustine. I will note that it happens when the resource is closed and opened again, irrespective of a program restart.

Hi Benjamin: Both of these features require owning a feature set or a subscription to some variation of Faithlife Connect. If you had them at a point in time, but no longer, it likely means you had a Faithlife Connect / Logos Now subscription that lapsed. I think the least expense way to get them is buying the Fundamentals package. Your dynamic price

So I downloaded and extracted the files again ... and compiled the long version as a Bible Harmony. I am still getting very odd results. Have you gotten it to work in the Passage Guide's Parallel Passages

  • Re: HCSB Inline Interlinear - Hebrew - Oddity

Gau Lu: It doesn't appear to be a beta issue, as I saw the same thing in L7.17. I think it's the result of not having the HCSB OT, but having the NT RI and the program doesn't handle that combo very well. If you really need the OT RI, the good news is you can probably get it for less than 14USD; that's my dynamic price for this: https://www.logos.com

  • Check Your Email - Warfield Biography

I received an email last night from Theology Mag that advertised Logos Basic with a free biography of Warfield by Kim RIddlebarger. I don't know which mailing list triggered it; I'm on most, if not all, of the lists. When I clicked on the link in the email, it loaded the cart with Logos Basic and the biography as separate items and entered a coupon

  • Re: Personal Book Failure

Jack: I think what's killing the compile is the 'empty article' error. The quick fix is here . I think the Hebrew issue is related to Word's failure to mark the Hebrew unicode as Hebrew. If it had correctly marked it, I believe the PB compiler would recognize it and the words in the compiled resource would work with lexicons, etc. I have seen Word automatically
