Also, I should add that I don't have a large number of resources, as I am not a pastor or seminary student.

Scott: I'm running XP with specs a bit less that yours. While I'm sure it isn't as snappy as some of the power users here, it really isn't agonizing or anything. In fact, my biggest issue is the refresh time of the Information window, which I see in other posts is quite common. I don't upgrade to a new computer very frequently, so my expectations are
I'd be interested in having it, Robert. Thanks
Chris: Here's the string: Genesis-2 Chronicles | Matthew-John; Psalm; Acts-Revelation | Ezra-Job; Proverbs-Malachi | Acts-Revelation; Matthew-Mark; Psalm; Luke-John In L4, paste the above string in the Reference Range box. If you name it, you can use it again the next

I have been using a modified M'Cheyne plan in L3. (I misspelled the gentleman's name in another post; sorry, Bobby). It works OK and the same thing can be done in L4 (although divided up differently than L3). It's modified because the way the software divides it up doesn't always break at neat chapters like the manual reading plan. This isn't an issue

Clearing History did not make them go away for me. I don't think i like them.

OK, when will they start on the Kindle version?

Ken: So, it seems QuickVerse (or at least the version you have) won't work in Vista? If true, you might check to see if E-Sword (which is free) works in Vista, as it has a STEP reader. That STEP interface is primitive, but it would at least give you some electronic access to your MacArthur files.

Kind of off-topic here, but I'm new to the forums (started reading them to help with getting used to L4) and I'm impressed how the corporate top guy gives enough of a hoot about his customers that he is up at 11:20 asking their opinion on possible features. Way to go! In fact, it appears he gives a very large hoot.

Joe: In my case, I am in the home stretch of an annual plan that has four daily readings whereby one reads OT once, NT twice and the Psalms twice. For example today I read 2 Ki 21, Phil 4, Daniel 2, and Luke 9. It was created in L3 by defining the 4 reading paths as daily readings. Ideally, I would recreate the plan in L4 and pick up the reading in

F11 puts it in "Reading View" and toggles it back.

I'll bet there isn't. However, you can copy the L3 plan definition and pasting into L4. I did that with a modified McShane plan I put in L3, but the results aren't the same; evidently the two calculate the plans quite differently. I'll start off '10 with an L4 plan.

I wondered that, too. Right-click the word In the right column of the pop up, click Strong's In the left column of the pop up, click Search this resource

Chris: Richard D's suggestion about Glary Utilities is a good one. You might be familiar with the performance boost you get from wiping your hard drive and reinstalling.everything; that's the performance boost I notice from regularly using Glary to clean the registry. My computer barely (maybe not) meets the minimum for L4, but it seems to run fairly
