what about a strict captcha when people sign up for new accounts, and/or when people go to post under a certain post count?

I think the modern equivalent would be opening a resource in a new window, and then dragging things into the new window to populate it like you would a second instance of Logos.
I know the technology is probably cost prohibitive, but I am really looking forward to automated attendance tracking using facial recognition... indeed: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/146796.aspx Activation, and support systems for Libronix area dead. So I would think Gold 3 is not the way you should go. at all.

If you're choosing between L3 Gold, and L7 gold I would go with 7 gold hands down.
How can I purchase Logos 3.0 Gold Library? Disks and Activation Code? (Maybe - not new, maybe from a former user) If I own Logos 7 Gold does my Computer automatically Download Version 3.0 from Logos? (IF you had v3, and then later upgraded to 7, yes you will still have everything from 3.0) How many Books (not resources

just checking in, haven't noticed any updates here in approaching a half year. any word on Logos adding this level of granularity into the software?

I'm in a position where I take them where I can get them. Sometimes that means Kindle (~1000 titles), sometimes that means in print (4-5000 titles), sometimes calibre (10k+sometimes logos (15000 +/-). 35k titles is hard to keep track of. I've been working on entering all of them into goodreads, and calibre both. Feel free to add me on goodreads.

I know LIbronix has its diehard adoring fans... But why not take the free engine only upgrade to 7? or 7 Basic (also free but with some resources)? You shouldn't lose any resources, AND you get the new, less clunky (in my opinion), friendlier version of Logos (libronix made me leave logos for a while... I really dont like it).

Help me understand the value of Berit Olam, I'm not familiar with it. Seems to be leaning catholic?

My ram is usually out in my front yard BAAAAAA-ing at his ladies, also in my front yard. My other rams sit out there BAAAAA-ing for their mom to let them eat. But if you meant the computer type ram as opposed to the living animal Mark is right :)

as i recall that data point is not stored in the cloud, its stored locally, so if you reinstall logos you are back to 00%.

Its definitely a good opportunity to complete commentary sets. I could spend about 500$ completely more than a dozen sets if I had the money.

IMHO the biggest mistake you can make is building a library that only includes authors from your tradition and with whom you agree.

IVPNTC over REC was definitely surprising. Kinda bummed.
I agree...this one was very disappointing. For me, my main goal for the first round was to get the remaining volumes in the Welwyn Commentary, Evangelical Press Study Commentary, and the Two Horizons Commentary (the 17 vol. version was available

The only thing that comes to mind on this point is Gen 2:24 24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. https://biblia.com/bible/esv/Ge2.24 Short of leaving and cleaving, I suspect they stayed with their families. Its much the same now in the communities of easterners living here

Gosh I guess it has been twenty years. When I started bible college (2000) there were only one or two very vocal reformed guys, by graduation most in my circles were macarthurian leaky dispensationalists, with piper as a heavy influence. Started seminary in 2012, by then, everyone seemed to be covenant/reformed. I made the switch (was arminian at the
