• Re: L5 Won't Stop Indexing; Rendering MacBook Pro Nearly Useless

It can take a long time to index everything the first time round. Be patient. Some systems take hours to complete - depends on your library size.

  • Small Bug - Adding a resource to Collections scrolls the resource list back to top every time

I am adding resources to a collection. After entering criteria and getting a matching list, I dragged resources into the collection. Each time I do this, the matching list refreshes and scrolls back to the first item. Then I have to scroll back down to try and find where I was in the list. It would be nice if the list of matching resources did not scroll

  • Re: library keep growing but i didn't buy any new resources????

i have a related question. Is there any way of knowing what resources may be added to the base packages. For example, the Hebrew Pronunciation Guide. I have the Scholars library. Do I buy this resource as pre-pub, or wait for it to be included in the Scholars list? How can I know whether it will be included?

I got curious and I think I found out how to post logs. Crashed searching for phrase moses and resurrection without quotes. God is good, as always. 6320.Archive.zip

  • Re: L4Mac B8-Crash during search of entire library

I'm getting search issues too. I searched for the single word (Moses) in basic search. all ok. Search for (resurrection) also works. But put both words in, and it crashes. I'm sorry, I'm not able to take time for logs etc. I'm just looking forward to seeing this bug ironed out. We've come a long way since I first bought Logos last year - I'm getting

  • Re: A19 BUG: bible search no longer works !!

With A19, I am having trouble doing a verse lookup too. I used to be able to type in "Matt 3:16" but Logos doesn't cooperate now unless I type in the full name of the book "Matthew 3:16". I hope I'm not missing something? btw, very impressed with the progress so far. Good software takes time. Excellent software takes even more time! I'd rather patient

  • Re: Almost 3,000 Books now able to be accessed on the iPhone app

There are a lot of energetic posters on these forums. I would love to see a mechanism where all this energy can be devoted to actually assisting the conversion of books into the correct format. There are many willing fingers to type and retype texts and format them appropriately. I guess there is the risk of someone posting a "backup" onto the internet

  • Re: Open Resources in Logos 3 while I wait...

I can't reuse the resources from Logos 4. I think the only way to downgrade on a Mac if you've bought Logos 4 is "Buy" the Mac Engine for free register the Mac Engine (request Logos to email a registration key) log in to the website and download the resources manually put them all in place on the mac (in /Library/Application Support/Libronix DLS/Resources

I've downloaded and installed it OK, but now to connect to the resources. Anyone know whether I need to re-dowload resources in an earlier format? At the moment, I have no resources, although I have connected to my logos account OK.
I did notice a comment on the Logos for Mac disclaimer page that they would make a download for 1.2.2 available "later", but I am not sure what that means. I thought it was available now for all those who have the Mac version.
They have already done this in a round-about way. Mac Engine is now available either for

  • Re: Open Resources in Logos 3 while I wait...
No problems. It is a lot to understand :-) Yes, you can use the resources in 1.2.2, or if you want you can even use the Windows version on a PC. I am not exactly sure how to download the right package for 1.2.2. So if someone from Logos does not reply here with instructions, call sales tomorrow and get some instructions. Have

  • Re: FAQs

Just to put in perspective, I understand that the speed of Logos is in part due to the comprehensive indexing it does before you use the resources. I bought Logos Scholar this week. I have a 2.2GHz Macbook with 4meg ram, and it took about 7 hours to finish indexing with the cooling fan running nice and fast (yes, it is doing some serious work for a
