  • Bug with prioritization for Burge's NIVAC commentary on 3 John

    I just noticed this minor bug. I have prioritized Burge's NIVAC commentary on John's epistles. When I select any of the first 9 verses on 3 John, Burge's commentary shows up in Explorer. When I select verses 10-14 of 3 John, it does not. It is as if Burge only comments on 1 John 1:1 - 3 John 9.

    My Logos program has recently updated to 8.9 SR-1 (like this morning), and says no other updates were found when I type in "Update now". In the About Logos Bible Software window, it shows that I am running 8.9.0.0030. I have automatically start downloads set to "Yes"

    This does not work on my machine (Windows and Logos 8). Enclosing the phrase in double quotes, single quotes, square brackets, round brackets or no quote or brackets at all makes no difference. The results are the same (302 results).

    Jack, this is what I tried. But the results include all notes that have the words "kingdom", "of" and "heaven" in them, not just where those words are found in a single phrase. I am looking for a way to search for a particular phrase in Notes like we can in a Bible search. Currently, Notes is looking for the 3 words as if they were not enclosed in quotation

    I am using Logos 8 and have really appreciated the new Notes tool. Today I wanted to search for a phrase in all of my notebooks. If I type the phrase "kingdom of heaven" (enclosed in either quotation marks or brackets) in the search bar at the top of the Notes Tool, it will show all notes that have all three words in them, regardless of whether they

    I definitely appreciate the improvement in ways that we can search our notes with the new Notes Tool. I am adding tags to many of my notes, both ones that I created in the past, and new ones as well. But the list of tags in the Filters column is incomplete if you have more than 30 different tags. Is there a way of searching for a tag in the Notes search

  • 5.1 not loading notes

    Since my Nexus 7 tablet and my Nexus 5 phone updated to 5.1, I have not been able to use the Android app. When I open a passage of Scripture in either Logos or the FSB, the note icons are never added to the text, and the blue circle continues to turn without stopping, no matter how I wait. I am not able to scroll to another page and the app freezes

    That solved the problem. Thanks. I did have to uninstall both the FaithLife Bible app as well as the Logos app to get it to right itself.

    My current reading plan is not showing in the list of reading plans on my Nexus 7, running 2.6.6. In fact there are no reading plans listed in the "Daily Readings" section.     I do not know why, but now when I re-opened Logos, LEB is again working the way it should. It is syncing with other windows, and appearing as an option in the parallels as well as in the Text Comparison. Between when the problem occurred this morning and now, my computer (running Win7) rebooted, due to a Windows update. Would the two be related?

    I am also noticing that the LEB will not sync with other versions open in other windows, although if I scroll the LEB, other versions will sync with it. LEB also does not appear in the drop-down list of parallels anymore.

    Does anyone else have the same problem? When I choose the Lexham English Bible to be included in text comparisons, the version does not show up. I am using 5.1.1.0591, and do not know when the problem started. On my Android version, it does show up in the comparisons.

    I appreciate development still working on this in the future. I believe that I am correct in saying that it is no longer possible to set the default font size for Notes in Program Settings. All we can set is the Default Font, right? Of course, we can adjust the default text size, but that affects all text, not just the notes.

    Dave, in the past, when I would enter a reference like (Is 57:8), I would have to press the space bar after the closed parenthesis to make it a hyperlink, and then delete the space and add the second punctuation mark (either a full stop or a comma). Maybe it was corrected a long time ago. The last inquiry about it on the forums that I could find was
