Mark , that depends on how large an SSD You deem necessary:
You'll get a similar performance gain from an SSD, but that's generally much more expensive than a RAM upgrade
Additionally, an SSD makes a huge difference in electricity consumption. That makes a huge difference in a laptop. Even so I recommend adding an external

Some commentary sets lack a commentary on Mal. I use: Wherein Have We Robbed God? Malachi’s Message for the Men of Today (I actually bought it at reg. price on Jan. 2. 2013, I might had qualified for a better price.) It works just fine for that part of the Bible. For somewhere ~½ books of the Bible I use semi-technical - technical commentaries. Other

Mark , the 1966 RSV-CE and Darby are listed. No link for Darby is given. Oh, and M.J. , these two are the exact same Edition, just two names for the same thing: Third Millennium Bible 1998 Third Millennium Bible (The New Authorized Version)

I have a soft cover/case for the old laptop with the small monitor (the one with the external HDD). I take out the computer. Then I attach the USB cable to the external HDD and put the external HDD in the corner of the cover, and almost close the zipper. Then I put the cover on my lap with the HDD hanging over my knee. Then I put the computer on top

Andy , that set might be good I bought it used in Logos (along with two other books) from Joe Wallace . He had originally bought it on pre-pub + I didn't need to pay that whole "pre-pub" price. Joe is reliable, he is selling his whole library because of financial reasons: joew AT bellsouth DOT net Ask for an Excel spreadsheet of what he has left and

    A tremendous idea, BriM ! :
In the longer term, you might want to consider whether it's possible to change CP slightly. The first few bidders seem to set the price - sometimes too high, sometimes too low because most people bid the going rate. I wonder whether hiding the peak for the first week would help people bid what they think

I have it and both L4 and L5 but I know no Hebrew. Yeah I guess they will update it eventually (they said something like that) but that's probably going to take a while:
And if so, is Logos planning an update for use with L5?
I should perhaps not speak on this, but maybe a sligthly discounted upgrade which if so would be a new policy, and a free upgrade sounds most unlikely:
Main caveats are, as yet I have seen no formal confirmation from Logos that those with the older sets will receive a no charge upgrade to any replacement
Well, I would guess that competitors would benefit from Logos giving out such information:

Michael, you make some great points but I especially like this one. I have been saying this for a while too and wish that they would share more information. I'm not sure why they don't do this:
I
