• Re: Logos & Duel Monitors

I don't know exactly what I will do. This post is about computers. I haven't yet bought the computer #2 in my post. I contacted the seller of it yesterday and she seemed to want to sell it to me. I wanted her to confirm that the Word 2010 in it is paid for (new computers are sold with the Starter Edition) and haven't heard from her since. I contacted

  • Re: Logos & Duel Monitors

The customer service gets paid to do their job. They should do a better job. My entire phone call to the customer service was about getting a discount. He said he would look what he can do. I was in a hurry to my evening class, so I didn't have time to do an exact calculation how much discount he was giving me. He left out one item which I had specified

Thanks to changing rep. and getting a discount on Exegetical Dictionary of the New Testament (3 vols.) and A Grammatical Analysis of the Greek New Testament I bought those along with Greek Audio New Testament for the reg price:
Later on, when my Gk skills have improved a little, I'll also order Exegetical Dictionary of the New Testament

  • Re: Let's hear it for Weights and Measures

Like almost ~½ of the new datasets in L5 compared to L4, weights and measures from L3 is not in my wish list. Looking up in a Bible dictionary, an English Bible version and/or making Your own Excel spreadsheet that calculates this, is quite enough IMO. I hope Logos keeps focusing on costs and doesn't start producing all kinds of things.

  • Re: What is the advantages of Logos over Accordance?

Yes but it's nowhere near as good as Logos PBB:
Can anyone tell me if Accordance has a comparable feature to Personal Books in Logos?
I vote A. W. Tozer. It's 50%/50%, Tozer has a few less votes.

I just ordered Blackwelder: Light from the Greek New Testament It's cheap. A much more expensive suggestion is: New Testament Greek Listening Materials: For the Elements of New Testament Greek (CD-Audio) (link to UK-based seller) and the book to go along with it. I'm wondering if Catholic Practicum will be of any use for me learning Gk? (I'm trying

  • Re: Multiple users/computers?

I think it would be totally wrong if Churches would get special benefits. Likewise I think it's weird that married couples get that benefit. I mean, churches and married couple, if any, should be able to pay. I'm struggling to imagine some category of people who should get benefits that other's don't get. Those who can't afford a commentary set at the

I'm thinking of canceling my order, I don't want worthless books to clutter my library. What do You think? Floyd and Denise , I added a "review" on the product page (actually link to an excerpt):
Here's a couple of sample pages (none on the Logos.com page):
RAS , (I'm also on a disability income, but I manage everyday life. I have very modern medication. I've told earlier on once when I was talking about the Revised English Bible that I have a little bit of epilepsy.) Email me quickly and I could transfer the following Roman Catholic Logos books to You some days from now for free, I'll also pay the license

  • Re: If you "upgraded" to L5 Platinum from L4, what resources made it a good buy for you?

Well I haven't upgraded. But I did take a good look. A Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament and Other Early Christian Literature, 3rd ed. ( BDAG ) $150 separately Believers Church Bible Commentary (24 vols.) I have bought one volume since before, at the same time when I upgraded to L4. Whole set $399.95 separately, I wouldn't need every volume

Good, they have removed The Teacher’s Bible Commentary . Unfortunately Calvin's Commentaries (46 vols.) seems to have been added? Counseling has been remoulded. The amount of books in Ministry has decreased.
