• Re: December birthday certificate

I'm not sure it's worth it to subscribe to personalized offers, there are several emails a week and the thought of being up-to-date about all sales and offers makes one spend more even if it's almost never on anything that's in the emails.

  • Re: Ex and Ps about thunder - adapts ancient Canaanite hymn or volcanoes?

I'm unlikely to spend over a hundred US$ on Exodus during the next two months. Meanwhile there's time to figure out if there are any individual titles worth buying.

That would be an awesome feature:
-Similarly, why can't we right-click on text, have the software intelligently parse it, and throw it up on the command line for opening? If I type "Open TDNT" up there, it will open. If I go to the locator bar in TDNT and type "9:189-219" it will go there. Why can the software intelligently parse this

  • Re: Prioritizing commentaries from bestcommentaries.com

I don't know whether it's a publisher restriction, but I'm wanting to review another International Critical Commentary volume on the Logos/Verbum product page in the (original) series, and it's not letting me do that. Last time I posted a review was a while ago for another volume in the (current) series. I'm using the latest Firefox web-browser on Win

Since the bundle is being offered for a while it's not or can't be as tremendous a deal as some short-term offers of bundles and individual titles. A few days ago I counted how I would value the items in the bundle (mostly based on just what they sound like from the titles) - as the discount I would be getting compared to how I value them would not

It might work. To be more sure, You could copy just the files older than the Massive Update to a :\resources -folder & then scan.

bump! I'll spot the Ps reference while I study to take the test so it will probably be less than a week from now before I post.

  • Re: Pulpit Commentary Set

The idea of most Community Pricing collections/sets is not that they upon entering live status are available perpetually, but that they are available for the patient customers when still at Community Pricing bid level. When they go to pre-pub or live status they are seen as unavailable for new purchases because of prices that are prohibitive except

To be absolutely clear: in many cases turning a public domain work into proprietary Logos format is equally much work as for a modern work, and in some cases even more work! Let me explain: they have to input the Greek and Hebrew as well, they need to proof-read the entire book or set, they may at times need experts in languages: older English and Biblical

No they have not. You can read books You paid to Logos on a Kindle device, that doesn't benefit Amazon, and Faithlife has likely estimated that the feature will turn into revenue rather than customers going to Amazon:
It's also my understanding that logos has linked itself with kindle (amazon) has it not...
• Ex and Ps about thunder - adapts ancient Canaanite hymn or volcanoes?

Are there any commentaries that have history/origins of the ancient Israelite religion in the Exodus Christmas bundle ? I've been looking at some Psalms but don't have time right now to look up which one the professor referenced in the Old Testament class at the beginning of the semester, regarding "mountain-God". Ps 29 looks similar but NIB says it

There's really nothing wrong to have two softwares to maximize benefits if seeing the strengths of both, and naturally there are few forums where to discuss different softwares that have proprietary resources:
It seems to me that you spend an inordinate amount of time talking about other software. As much as you do so, I hope

Faithlife offers over 40,000 titles, it would be a lot of work now, afterwards, for them to determine which ones to collapse in the libraries:
Unix - I don't know how you determine whether something would be simple to implement in Logos / Verbum:
There are many reasons to have Accordance as well and this

There are many reasons to have Accordance as well and this is one of them and wouldn't be a simple matter to implement in Logos/Verbum. I haven't installed the Bible Review CD-ROM I bought nor even decided whether I myself or the friend I'll research together should have it:
3. I'm OK with getting samplers and perhaps the occasional Twitter daily deal (for example Semeia), I got this among many various other things in the Cyber Monday Mega Pack and I think I got a better deal.
