• Re: Logos 4.0a SR-1 & SR-2 Release Notes

Logos needs to chime in sometime here. SR-2 is a mess. Things are broken all over the place after two huge downloads and two indexings.

  • Re: What Happened to My LXX?

Mine won't load either. I'm quickly becoming very frustrated with SR-2, which isn't even supposed to be a beta release. I'm not sure it "fixed" anything of substance, and has now broken a half-dozen things.

  • Profile and "My Activity"

Is there a reason why the "My Activity" area of my profile is not working? Only one post of mine is showing. I noticed it when I glanced at other users, who have more material in their "My Activity." It would be helpful if it worked, so I could quickly check the threads I am involved in.

Bible Text Only is coming as a visual filte
Is it by design that this mode only shows verse-by-verse and not in paragraphs. I would like a mode that stripped out the footnotes but left the text in paragraphs.
Exactly. I would like that as well.

  • Re: Logos 4 and Large Updates - back to 3 for me!

I'm in an area with unlimited (and relatively fast) downloading, so I am not as affected as others. Having said that, I don't understand why after so many public complaints (not just on the forums, but everywhere on the internet), Logos doesn't implement a dialog box that shows what is to be updated, and allow for acceptance or ignoring each portion

It is the manner in which the font is displayed, not a different font, apparently. See http://community.logos.com/forums/t/5810.aspx
[quote user="Donovan R. This way it cuts out the step
I'm going to close this thread with the resolution so that anyone else who searches can see how to resolve this. There's no reason to either install or re-install Libronix/Logos3. Just call Logos Support and give them the serial number on the box. Then they will enable the license on their licensing server. Restart Logos4
No, you're right Fred. I would be very useful to have some kind of warning when we first opened a superseded resource. How can be expected to know which is the 'best' resource, particularly when the descriptions and titles give us no indication. I wouldn't want them automatically hidden though, as I can imagine users would

  • Re: RANKING of L4.0 library resources

But isn't it the case that Ranking serves to "prioritize" resources unless you do that manually? And if so, then I thought Logos was going to set 4.0 up so it would work "out of the box" and would not require extensive prioritizing. I really don't want to have to prioritize everything in my library to get it to work properly. I though Logos was going

Does anyone know what is with the large amount of "subjects" that are a bunch of numbers? Is this intentional? Is there a fix in the works for better tagging?

  • Re: Greek Majority Text W/ Sympathetic Highlighting

Yes, thank you Rick. Very helpful. But it also shows up the useless nature of the "Ranking." On almost every one of these sets, the higher ranked item was the one suggested to be hidden. It also does not seem to be subjectively worse, but objectively worse (older resource, missing morphology, etc.) Would there be any way to get some information from

  • Re: RANKING of L4.0 library resources

The ranking system is very confusing to me. In at least one instance, it results in a complete error: BHS w/ 3.5 Morphology is ranked higher than BHS w/ 4.2 Morphology. I can imagine a reason why the BHS w/ Vrije Morphology would rank higher than Westminster (even if I would disagree), but I can't imagine why an older version of a Morphology would outrank
