Is it just me that thinks that function is kinda of corny. Personally, I wish I could switch it off.

I think version 5 in terms of functionality will be not be as huge a deal as the switch to version 4 was. Remember Logos is now following a much more incremental (agile) development methodology now. In some parts of IT this is quite normal. For instance, I do consulting related to a cloud based system that has 3 major releases per year. I think it is

Or just contact one of the Logos sales reps and perhaps get an even better deal. (I just did :) )

  • Custom Reading Plan - One chapter per day

I am looking to create a custom reading plan that goes for 150 days. This corresponds to one Psalm per day. In conjunction with that I want to read through the rest of the Bible during that 150 days. So the closest I've figured out so far is Gen - Job, Pro - Re | Ps - The reading plan created splits the book of Psalms into 150 equal portions and so

The blog post said they were free until 11:59 PST April 8. I tried to order them yesterday and ran into the same problem - it being listed as $0 and yet when you click on the order button they went into the cart and appeared with a cost attached.

Two recent examples I came across and both from speakers featured in the current March Madness... 1. interpreting Matthew 13 (Parable of the Sower) with the statement that only 25% of people accept the gospel. 2. Presenting a "true story" for illustration purposes that when subjected to the briefest of online research is very quickly established to
but the dual monitor had a better 'logical feel' to me than the big single
I concur. I actually have a six monitor setup (not specifically for Logos but I have been known to use all 6 sometimes when I am using the software) and it really helps keep things separate.

Dave - I see the Toshiba Portege with the 6GB RAM - and it's a little lighter too. I haven't found any with the larger SSD yet. Could you point me in the right direction?

Thanks. Based on what I'm being told by HP is that theoretically it can be upgraded to 8GB but the extra power consumption would be make it ineligible for Ultrabook status.

It is the most (by far) resource hungry app I will be running on

  • Re: Christmas 2011 Promotion

It's not a resource. But what I would like to see is a way for my friends and family to buy me Logos gift cards. That way I'm VERY easy to buy for this year :) Plus if there were some good deals to spend my gift money on then that would be good too.
I assume you're trying to discover an on air presentation using the Logos for iPhone app? Have you set a location on the on air presentation?
I beleive so, but no luck. While, the location awareness is kindoff cool, maybe as a backup or alternate means it would be great to be able to subscribe manually to a location

I've certainly referenced Wiersbe for lesson prep but i like the way 365 separates out the two. Just like my meals I like having my main course first and then dessert afterwards.

  • Similar resources to 365 Day Devotional Commentary?

I appreciate the mix of straight commentary with a little devotional on the side. Is anybody aware of other resources like this or what to recommend one? I did a search http://www.logos.com/products/search?q=devotional+commentary&start=0&sort=rel&pageSize=60 which produced some results not all of which seem to be the same style. Thanks for your help

  • Looking for a picture

In my preaching prep I came across this illustration, in Holman New Testament Commentary:Romans: A disturbing poster made the rounds in Christian bookstores a number of years ago. In the foreground of the poster were two wizened old saints who were down on their hands and knees, seemingly in a discussion, or more likely an argument, about something

A few years back I hosted one of Dale Pritchett's New Zealand road tour stops. It's not clear whether or not you will actually have any Logos staff presenting for you, because the easiest thing is just let them go to it!! If you don't have any official Logos representation then some of the videos mentioned are great. When I hosted Dale Logos 3 had just
