You might find this helpful : http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers Otherwise, the long way is just to put the DVD in the new computer and let it install and then get the updates.
The graph suggests that even at $4 the book is 80% paid for (and at $5 it's 99% paid for). Looks like if about 3 or 4 people raise their bid from $4 to $5 it will go for $5!!! In fact if the graph is accurate, the same number of people have bid $4 and $5! So it needs a very small percentage of $2 to $4 bidders to raise to
Those new bidders could just bid at 5 dollars, to get it down to the 5 dollar level, they would only need to bid at six dollars if they wanted to be sure they got the resource.
That's correct. If $5 really is as much as they would be prepared to pay then they should only bid that and be aware that they may miss

Richard, I don't think it is so much finding the resources that is the issue - it's more "now what" - how can I include this as part of my day to day ministry - I spend a fair amount of time in this piece of software anyway - how can I get even more use out of it. I also would be interested in what other people are doing with this. One of the things

Roughly another 25 -30 new bidders at $6 would put it down to $5 - from the graph it looks like most underbidders have already raised their bid so we need some new entrants if it's going to move any further.

BTW, personal stories like what Jacob has posted go a long way to getting people interested in bidding or bidding more for a book - (thanks for the contribution, Jacob) - our value proposition should be more than here's a way to get some cheap "stuff"
Interesting thought! Another way to think about it, if "everybody" bid $2 for every community book that came out, even if I bought a book for $2 that I didn't really want that much, the process ensured it was a type of investment to ensure the books I do want I can get for $2 also!
Kind of like a defacto subscription

I don't know if I've ever taken any notice - I don't know what Logos has to do in the system to make the change and they've been putting up other titles on pre-pub today - I imagine it'll appear sometime next week - maybe Monday - maybe not.. Coming out of community pricing means they now have enough "pledges" to get started on production which could

It now graduates to pre-pub - you'll see it appear there some time soon - just before they're ready to ship you'll get an email notifying you that they're about to charge your card.

Bear in mind though that that 40% at the $4 mark includes everyone who has made a bid - because remember your bid is an indication of the maximum you are happy to pay. So to elaborate : Let's assume that the amount Logos needs to produce this book is $10,000. If the graph is sitting at 40% at the $4 this means than 1000 people have bid $4 or more.
who knows if enough will bid 12 dollars we may close it out at 10.00
If my little spreadsheet is correct there are *just* enough remaining underbidders that if they were to raise their bid to 12 the final price would be $10. Of course, if there are new bidders coming in that makes it easier.
