It's OK - I found it by going to my purchases page (see - I do believe!).

Hi Joe Is that build generally available? If so, can you toss the link? The one I downloaded about 10 minutes ago was still Alpha 1, and I haven't been able to get that to go further than the 'logging in' bar. Cheers, Colin

Hi Rick I'd use an app like App Zapper, as I found the same thing - there seem to be lots of preference files in odd places right now. I'm sure this will settle down in time. Col

While Logos folks do participate in these forums, the forums are not an official support method. It is a place for users to share experience and advice with other users.

I think we'll find it is a case of "Logos 1 is dead, Long Live Logos 4". But your points are essentially those I made earlier and to which I received no real response except "you have an Alpha."

Ben - you need to look at the order you put in to upgrade to or buy the Mac version. The files should be there under 'files to download'.

Thanks for your reply, Bob. I appreciate the information. I think "not completely finished" might be a tad hopeful, though - if it is an Alpha build that implies it is not close to finished. I guess, for myself, I would simply ask that Logos acknowledges that your introduction of your Mac product (both v1 and this new v4) has been flawed. That doesn
Colin, I think you bring some legitimate questions. Pointing the Mac to the Logos 4 page is misleading. It should point to the Alpha page if anything. I think the reason, in part, Mac is in Alpha is a decision about not paying to design Logos 4 twice. I was in the Beta group for Windows (but am I Mac user). The features changed

I too, find this most frustrating. I bought a product expecting it to work as it should and with a full feature set. Logos for Mac 1 never has had either of those things. Whilst I welcome Logos 4, and the idea that I will finally have a product that might do what I expect and have the features I've paid for (many months ago), I am astounded that we

I should have said: Which is not to say that many people who work for Zondervan are not Christians and well intentioned. I just wanted to point out that Zondervan is a part of a corporate giant in the publishing industry, and that brings a whole range of inflexibilities of approach.
I think their approach was far from Christian. Glad I've never found that here at Logos.
Zondervan is just a well-marketed division of Harper Collins, which is part of News Limited. Nothing Christian about it (which is not to say that many of those who work for them might be Christian and well intentioned).

This may be 'not a big deal' to purchasers in the US and Canada, but it would be a big deal to us in (places like) Australia, who depend on resellers (there are really only three in Australia). The US postage on a base package would be pretty prohibitive, and once you get to AU$1,000 we have to pay import duties. I'd suggest that, if that happened,
