  • Re: Logos 4 won't update

Hi Todd, We're definitely going to need to get the current updates installed. We have a support article to assist you with the " Unable to download " error you're receiving. Please give that a try. If the problem still occurs after the update, we should be able to log it successfully.

  • Re: LOGOS: My Indexer doesn't work as it should, and you haven't replied in over a week

Hello fgh, I apologize for the oversight. I missed your thread. I also do not know why this occurs, but I have encountered it before, and resolved it by removing and re-installing the app file. The issue seems to be an incomplete copy of the app file itself. The indexer component appeared to be effectively missing. It is very rare that it happens, and

Hello Todd, I apologize for the difficulty. It would be best to manually update at www.logos.com/install4 . If that doesn't work, or does not resolve the issue, we'll need to have you collect some logs to troubleshoot the issue. You can learn about logging here .

  • Re: Logos 5 Mac Freeze

Hello William, I apologize for the difficulty you're seeing. Per your last reply, are you typing in "Job" as in the entire book of Job? I noticed your layout contains several linked panels, including Text Comparison. Loading a layout with Text Comparison on an entire book, like "Job", is not recommended. This is going to display and search the entire

  • Re: Libronix DLS 3.0g - Exegetical Guide properties not available

Hi Mark, I apologize for the inconvenience. LDLS 3.0g has several non-functional menus and a string of other quirks, due to updates Microsoft has released, like Internet Explorer 9 and updates to MSXML4, etc. It's no longer a reliable or predictable platform. That being said, we'd be glad to help you access your LDLS library through the current technology

Hey Guys, Thanks for reporting this. I've notified our content team and they tell me it should be fixed in the upcoming 5.1 release (currently fixed in the 5.1 Beta):

Hello Tad, I apologize for the confusion. These books will automatically install themselves in Logos 5 if you own them on the account you've signed in with. I have checked your account and I do not see any activated products or completed orders. You need to purchase these books in order to view them. If you believe you already own them, perhaps we have

Hello Jesse, I apologize for the difficulty. Depending on how much free space is available on C:\, it is possible you might get an error over insufficient space before you choose location. Logos installs two parts, the "Prerequisites" installer has to be installed with the Windows directory, along with the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 (if it isn't already

  • Re: Logos 5 cashing, Windows 8

Hello Steve, I apologize for the difficulty. It appears that Logos is crashing while interacting with KernelBase.dll. Because this isn't normal behavior, we can assume something is wrong with either KernelBase or Logos. I can't help you with KernelBase, that's a Microsoft/Windows DLL, but we can treat the potential problem with Logos. I would recommend

Hey Dave, I just got a notice that this should be fixed in Beta 8. It also made it into the current release, SR-4 on both 4 and 5.

Hey guys, Development found the problem. That graph was looking for all datatypes, but assuming they were bible (canon) references. It is possible in some resources that the datatype might be a non-canonical reference. This caused invalid data. They've fixed it for 5.1, but we're going to try to sneak it into a service release before then if possible

  • Re: BUG: L5 Crash Using BWS and LXX Swete

Hey guys, Thanks for your patience. I was able to reproduce. It looks like the "Show Zero Items" function is causing the crash in both of your cases. This setting is also remembered, so it automatically crashes if we run that graph again. We'll get this worked out ASAP. Do you have a saved layout with the Results Graph open to a different graph style

All charts work for me. Same version of the resource. I just rebuilt my index over the weekend. I still suspect this could be index-related. It is displaying search results, and search results are generated from the index, but I'll see if I can get some input from one of our developers.

Interesting. And you guys haven't applied any custom tags to LXX Swete? What version of the book do you have installed? You can learn this by clicking the "i" in the corner, and scrolling to the bottom. I still get results:

  • Re: Logos 5 crash Error ID: 7196 InvalidOperationException: Invoke or BeginInvoke cannot be called on a control until the window handle has been created.

Hello John, The long string of "System.Windows" and "MS.etc, etc" may indicate that Logos is failing to load, access, or use a Microsoft component, likely some part of .NET . If you can provide a Logos.log of the error, this may help us troubleshoot this issue. If you can recreate the problem on demand, I'd strongly recommend calling in for direct support

  • Re: Nelson's Teaching Outlines of the Bible crash

Hello SamK, Your logs are not recording fresh information for some reason. Please delete all content in the Logos Log Files folder, then re-log the error. This should give us a fresh log with current data on the crash.

Sorry guys, What am I doing differently, here? I still can't get it to crash. Searched lemma: καθαρισμός, in LXX Swete, using Verses view, clicked "Graph Results". All graphs show and do not cause a crash. 5.0b SR-3. [EDIT: Have you applied any custom tags to LXX Swete? Do you also have a sync error?]

  • Re: BUG: L5 Crash Using BWS and LXX Swete

Hi David, Yes, that is the crash or "callstack" but it is out of context on its own. When we have it int he Logos.log file, we can get a lot more data about what Logos was attempting to do leading up to it.

  • Re: BUG: L5 Crash Using BWS and LXX Swete

Hello David, Thank you for reporting this. I am unable to reproduce the problem. It may be unique to your computer, possibly due to a corrupt database or index. Unfortunately, the Logos.log file you sent does not contain the crash, so I'm troubleshooting based only on the recorded callstack in your LogosError.log. If you're open to it, I'd like to have
