  • Re: English Glosses in UBS5

Thank you for the update. I know that selfishness is a major character flaw, but being flawed, I'd like to ask your staff to "Hurry UP!" and fix this. I use this feature perpetually as I practice reading the Greek. Thank you, and now I go to provisionally repent.

Thank you so much for responding. Actually, I did start a post on this subject. I did it yesterday. It was yesterday too when I uploaded "new resources" on my MacBook Pro. I did it during the recess in class. Came back and my English glosses had disappeared. Bummer! I do hope that they see it and fix it quickly. Thanks for your help.

I did find one difference while going through both computers with a fine toothed comb. My MacBook Pro - the one w/o the English shows this information in the Info panel LLS:NA28

NA28.logos4 On my MacBook Air the info reads LLS:NA28 2015-06-10T15:19:39Z NA28.logos4. Well that's the best I can do. I just hope this gets fixed, as I

  • Re: English Glosses in UBS5

I was just referred to this thread after complaining about the absence of the English translation being included. Here are two screen shots one taken from my MacBook Pro and the other from my MacBook Air. Both shots looking at the same workspace and the same version of the NA28 Logos Edition. I'm rather frustrated as it used to work on my MacBook Pro

This is a screen shot of the problem I'm having on my MacBook Pro. Notice the change in the information displayed. Now this is a screenshot of the same passage taken on my MacBook Air, that I didn't run the most recent add resources update. In this one you'll see that the English translation is included, This is what I want to get back on my MacBook

  • Trouble with the NA28 Info

Greetings, I am in class and working with the NA28. Periodically, I put the cursor over a word to have the information mini-window show up at the bottom. All of a sudden, after I shut down to have new books added, when I put the cursor over the word, the parsing window shows up as always, it parses the word, but where the English translation of the

  • L6 Crashing frequently

I've had my L6 for a long time on my MacBook Pro. The only thing that is different is I loaded BibleWorks for Mac 11 on my laptop. Are there any known issues between these two programs? Or, is anyone else having crashing problems similar to mine? To be specific, once my L6 starts crashing the only solution is close BW11 and all other programs and reboot

  • Book Recommendations wanted

I am preparing a bibliography for a creation study. Can anyone recommend some good books on creation from an intelligent design perspective? Can you also recommend books on creationism in addition to Whitcomb and Morris' work? Thank you so much.

  • Tim Keller Archive TOC Help

I love TKA, but the one frustrating issue I have with it is the Reference portion of the TOC. The promise is that one could search the archive by reference. All attempts to do so require that one literally scroll from Genesis to whatever part of the Bible is of interest. Why isn't there a box that, at the very least, would allow you to pick a Bible

I am hopeful that this will happen in my lifetime. I do admire Dr. Carson's ministry as much as I admire his scholarly writings.

  • Re: Where is Saul?

Thank you. I'd tried changing all the types. It wasn't until I got your screen grab that I tried changing subject. Strangely, I had Biblical Studies and Biblical Events checked. In that setting, I could see David, Samuel, Eli and Jonathan, but no Saul. It wasn't until I checked General Interest that Saul appeared. Strange huh? Why wouldn't Saul appear

  • [resolved] Where is Saul?

Could someone help me with this. I've been working on a timeline project for school. In L6's timeline I cannot find King Saul. Why is that? Here is a screen grab. See early and late David, no Saul???

  • Re: Diagramming oti as a conjunction

Thank you. The ὅτι to which I refer is verse 11. Now, I'm still in learning mode, but in both my ESV interlinear and the NA28 mouse over parses ὅτι as a conjunction substantival content. I'm always eager to learn what the difference is and why it is different. Thanks
  • Re: Diagramming oti as a conjunction

Thank you for responding, but I found the answer (and I learned to pray - smile). It was Eph 2:11. But, again, I was fortunate to find the answer. It wasn't as difficult as I'd imagined. Thanks for your help. Technorev
  • Diagramming oti as a conjunction

I need some help. I am trying to diagram a sentence Greek that has ὅτι as a conjunction substantival content. I'm not sure how to display it (above the baseline or below it.) I could use some help. Thanks so much.
  • Re: L5 Yosemite OK?

Thank you so much as you're right I didn't see that until after the post reply. I've upgraded to Yosemite and things are working well. So happy too, as I dared try it while ministering out of town, state and almost country. Whew!

  • Re: L5 Yosemite OK?

I want to make sure that all the functions of L5 work. You see I loaded the beta version and ran L5. At first it looked like everything was fine. It wasn't until I started using L5 for real that I noticed that some framing and other features didn't work properly. I called Logos and was told that they had to do some additional revisions because Yosemite

  • Re: D. A. Carson Sermon Collection - How could this happen??????

Thank you for writing Kelvin. Without question Logos is my go to software for everything Bible. Of course, I use L5 for all my seminary classes study as well as all my preparations for ministry at the church I pastor and for my itinerant ministry. In Houston, I meet every month with a group of Pastors, Bishops and ministers to teach them how to use

  • Re: D. A. Carson Sermon Collection - How could this happen??????

I wish I did work for Logos. I've been with them since they purchased CD Word from Hampton Keathley. I have owned every iteration of Logos since then. I'm a portfolio user and love the program. Thanks for putting your order in. If by chance you are not familiar with D.A. Carson's works, there is already a plethora of his material in the Logos library
