  • Re: Read Aloud Speed

I wholeheartedly agree. I'm following the Greek reading, but if I turn away a second from following the non-bouncing ball, I can easily get lost. To add insult to injury, I read earlier in this thread about a "control panel." So far, I've searched and searched by have not found the control panel. I know you wrote your comments over two years ago, but

Thank you all. I kept reading and discovered the answers to my questions. I only leave this up to suggest that a 0.5 speed would be nice too!

  • L4 Crashed after most recent update

Greetings, I am writing with hope that someone can help me. My L4 crashed Tuesday night 03/09 after my L4 started downloading the update. I've tried everything. L4 starts and shows the home page minus the articles and then the crash report window appears. My L4 was working fine until last night. I've not added any software just the auto upgrade. I have

  • Re: L5 Yosemite OK?

Thank you so much as you're right I didn't see that until after the post reply. I've upgraded to Yosemite and things are working well. So happy too, as I dared try it while ministering out of town, state and almost country. Whew!

  • Re: L5 Yosemite OK?

I want to make sure that all the functions of L5 work. You see I loaded the beta version and ran L5. At first it looked like everything was fine. It wasn't until I started using L5 for real that I noticed that some framing and other features didn't work properly. I called Logos and was told that they had to do some additional revisions because Yosemite

I need some help. I am trying to diagram a sentence Greek that has ὅτι as a conjunction substantival content. I'm not sure how to display it (above the baseline or below it.) I could use some help. Thanks so much.

  • Why does ESV omit "begotten" in John 1:18 & 3:16

I just received a post response that informed me that "we" are not supposed to post theological questions here. I sincerely apologize. I love Logos and wasn't trying to break the rules. Thank you. The TechnoRev

Thank you to you and to Graham Criddle for your responses. I will refer to the books you recommended. I have most of them. Thanks again.

I am excited to receive so much feedback. I am taking all suggestions to heart. I have the Portfolio version as well as many other books I've purchased over the years. Clearly, I will be busy for some time tonight - smile.

  • The Footsteps of the Messiah - Fruchtenbaum

I very much love this book. I've tried with consistent failure to find words that would be successful in persuading Logos to allow this book to be accessed by my IPad/IPhone version of the Logos App. I tried calling Dr. Fruchtenbaum's office and they were unresponsive too. So, I'm hoping that someone on this Forum can give me the proper procedure for

Thank you for the information. I knew that it was a permission issue. I was just hoping that maybe someone had greater powers to convince either Logos to pursue the publisher's permission or persuade Dr. Fruchtenbaum to voluntarily offer it. I love his work and love just reading it even when I'm not studying. Having it on my IPad would be such a blessing

  • Tim Keller Archive TOC Help

I love TKA, but the one frustrating issue I have with it is the Reference portion of the TOC. The promise is that one could search the archive by reference. All attempts to do so require that one literally scroll from Genesis to whatever part of the Bible is of interest. Why isn't there a box that, at the very least, would allow you to pick a Bible

  • Re: D. A. Carson Sermon Collection - How could this happen??????

Yes, well there are some of us who did express interest in the pre-pub. My point is apparently it was not enough for Logos to go ahead with the project. Now, I just read Dan Pritchett's comment that it is still gathering interest. So, I'm going to check back with my Logos sales person. But I know he told me yesterday that they had retired the Carson

Are you the Dan Pritchett of Logos? If so, are you saying that the Carson project is not retired or are you a forum member with a similar last name who has an old link. I'm on a crusade as you can probably tell. #bringcarsonback

Yes, encouraging people to order it is exactly what I'm doing. In fact I'm talking to a pastor in Columbus now. I sent him the link and he's going to order it. If we all work on this, I'm sure that we will prevail. BTW the hashtag was me trying to be funny.

  • Trouble with the NA28 Info

Greetings, I am in class and working with the NA28. Periodically, I put the cursor over a word to have the information mini-window show up at the bottom. All of a sudden, after I shut down to have new books added, when I put the cursor over the word, the parsing window shows up as always, it parses the word, but where the English translation of the

  • Re: English Glosses in UBS5

I was just referred to this thread after complaining about the absence of the English translation being included. Here are two screen shots one taken from my MacBook Pro and the other from my MacBook Air. Both shots looking at the same workspace and the same version of the NA28 Logos Edition. I'm rather frustrated as it used to work on my MacBook Pro

NA28.logos4 On my MacBook Air the info reads LLS:NA28 2015-06-10T15:19:39Z NA28.logos4. Well that's the best I can do. I just hope this gets fixed, as I

  • Book Recommendations wanted

I am preparing a bibliography for a creation study. Can anyone recommend some good books on creation from an intelligent design perspective? Can you also recommend books on creationism in addition to Whitcomb and Morris' work? Thank you so much.
