• New "Upgrade" -- Am I missing something?

I have found using Logos on my Android tablet extremely useful. In fact, up to now, it has been the place where I use Logos the most. Typically, while reading a passage from the Bible I will pull up Logos, access the Passage Guide from the menu at the bottom of the screen, enter the reference in question and read through the commentaries that come up
What version of the Logos app are you using - I am on 1.1.3?
Just checked and I have the same version. Just updated it about a week ago. I have lots and lots of choices. A couple of months ago I purchased the least expensive of their big package deals. When I use the guide on my desktop the "more" link works fine

  • Passage Guide "more" link

I'm finding that I really like using Logos on my Android tablet. I use it most during my morning study time, before I fire up my desktop. Very handy. Often, when reading through a passage I will use the Passage Guide to see what some of the commentaries say about it. Generally it comes up with about 6 choices that I can go through. However, sometimes

And there it sits, in plain sight for all to see, and me blind as a mole in his hole! Thanks, Dave!

  • Thoughts for improvement

I understand that the Logos Android app is still a beta -- is that correct? With that in mind, here are some thoughts for improvement: Font size adjustment (with reformatting) using the "finger pinch". The above will help with this one, but I find the links on the Passage guide window to be difficult to access accurately. Far too often I get the link

  • Written Logos Android reference needed

I am really enjoying having Logos on my tablet. So far I am using it most during my morning devotions. When I come across a verse or passage that I want to dig into a little more it's nice to just pull up the Passage Guide and read some of the commentaries. One of my frustrations with my study Bible has been that far too often I find that there are

  • Re: Is there a user guide for the Logos android app?

They don't have any manuals at all? Videos really don't hack it. I need a decent reference I can refer to. PDF format would be fine, I just need something to show me the way.

  • Is there a user guide for the Logos android app?

I'm getting weary of trying to learn this app by trial and error.

Thanks, everyone! I have a little more to work with now. And....I think I owe Logos an apology. Seems like the problem is more a matter of availability than predjudice. Sorry! I'm quite interested in Gordon Fee's works now that some of you recommended him. Unfortunately my Logos package doesn't have any of his writings.
What other Charismatic/Pentecostal commentaries are you referring to?
Actually, the reason for my search is to find some commentaries like that. A Google search turned up a few. I have Intervarsity's Ancient Christian Commentary on my bookshelves along with McGee's Through the Bible Commentary . Of course, neither of those

"Bible Study Library" rather than "Basic Edition". Sorry for the confusion.

Graham, I searched my L4 library for Gordon Fee and came up with nothing. Maybe I'm not doing the search right? So far, my search for Pentecostal/Charismatic works -- especially commentaries -- is still coming up dry.

  • Charismatic/Pentecostal works seem to be in short supply.

I installed L4 Basic a few weeks ago and am still getting used to the new interface/conventions. I went looking for a commentary coming from a Charismatic/Pentecostal viewpoint. I came up dry and I'm wondering why. (No rhyme intended. :>) Seems to me that some of this kind of work should be included in the Basic package. The only thing I can find with

  • Putting books into the reader on my tablet

So I really like the reader on my new Asus tablet and would like to put some of the books from Logos 4 in that reader's library for easy access. (So far, I've found the Logos app clumsy to use. I'm sure I will eventually get it figured out.) Anyway, is there a way to export the books in a format I can use with that reader? Thanks! John

  • Can't find new book.

So, I "purchased" the free book of the month and would like to take a look at it. The receipt page said to go to Biblia.com to find it, but when I do that all I get is Bible to read. That's fine, but I would like to look at that book -- it covered a topic I think I will find interesting. I tried to find from my desktop and can't find it there either
