  • Re: Resource Request: Dake Annotated KJV Reference Bible

David, When I spoke with the distributor recently, he told me that they will not be reprinting the Large Print edition. When the current stock runs out, that is it.It is being replaced by another edition which is physically a little smaller but with the font at 8.5-9 point, a 3 column version like the Large Print.

Tes, I don't have Dake in Wordsearch. Can you tell me about it. Do the cross-references and such hypertext link for a popup when you hover over them? Do they link to the passage when clicked? I'd be interested in your experience. Thanks

David, Yes, I know. I have it in Large Print. As a Logos user, I want to leverage all of the powerful tools in Logos so that with 500,000 cross references, etc., I will not have to spend the rest of my life flipping pages. I want to hover and/or single-click to view the reference. Logos would allow me to be much more productive. I need this resource

  • Biblical footnotes

This is a question about footnotes and not so much about Logos. I looked in the Wiki and I couldn't find an answer to my Question. I am using the 1873 Cambridge Paragraph version of the Authorized Version of the Bible. I am using the tool Copy Bible Verses and pasting to a Word 2013 document. Using the Style Fully Formatted With Footnotes , the Passage

  • Re: BUG: Headword with imbeded colon causes headword to be ignored in Build Book

Bradley, to answer your query - yes, the phrase needs to be a headword. The solution to resolve the issue would be for the milestone handling routine for Headwords to "ignore" any legitimate colons subsequent to the first colon at the end of the milestone "@Headword:". It's simply a matter of programming the appropriate behavior. This has not been done

  • BUG: Headword with imbeded colon causes headword to be ignored in Build Book

for example - [[@Headword:The Harbinger: Fact or Fiction?]] The imbedded colon causes the Headword to be ignored. If the colon after Harbinger is changed to, say, a dash, or a blank, the headword is not ignored. experienced in environment - Logos Bible Software 5.2b SR-8 (5.2.2.1595) Copyright 2000–2014 running windows 8.1 with all available updates

  • open media files from within personal books

Can I have a link of some sort in a personal book which will launch a media player (such as Apple's Quicktime) in a new window and play a locally stored media file (such as mp3, m4a, mp4, etc.) on a PC? If I can do this, or something like this, how do I do it? I am running Windows 8.1, Logos 5 with a Platinum library. Your kind consideration is appreciated

  • Analysis tab in Bible Search results

This past Monday, 10/29/14, Morris Proctor posted a tutorial on the subject - Exploring Lemmas with the Same Root . You can follow his instructions here http://blog.logos.com/2014/09/logos-5-exploring-lemmas-with-the-same-root/ As an exercise for myself on how to use Bible Search to use the Root for analysis, I chose the word "caught" in the verb phrase

how do I do it? When I open my preferred bible to a particular book and open the corresponding commentary volume of a multi-volume commentary series (e.g. United Bible Society Handbook Series) of the same book and link them, synchronization works fine within that bible book. Ok Kevin, Great comments. However, last paragraph - ASUS. Doesn't ASUS make the Nexus 7? I was in Best Buy looking at a Nexus 7 (1920 x 1200) running Jelly Bean 4.3 or 4.2? (salesman couldn't tell) and I am sure it said ASUS on it. Or am I mistaken. They wanted $229 (16GB) and $269 (32GB).
