No this happens with any vowel. That was just an example. It is a new problem in L6.

Thanks for the update.

Please fix this soon. Wasn't the biblical DSS, being a couple hundred individual resources, designed to be used with text comparison? Yet all this time and the bug still lingers. What in the world?

I frequently double click on a Hebrew word in LHB and I'm taken to the dictionary entry for the definite article or interrogative he. I don't have time to list a bunch of examples, but here's one: הַאַף in Genesis 18:23. This happens a lot on the mobile apps, but also on the desktop version. Tonight I've run into it a few times on the desktop version

I moved from Nexus 7 to Air 2 and love the Air 2 16GB. Page turns are seamless, glare isnt a problem, love the screen size. I prefer the larger screen. It allows me to have NA 28 or a Hebrew Bible open, while actually having room to use a lexicon, too. The Air 2 is so thin and light that I find the benefit of the extra screen realestate far outweighs

That is fantastic news! Thank you.

Logos 6 performance is sluggish for me too, especially with scrolling and navigation in resources with Hebrew. Macbook Pro (retina), OSX 10.10.whatever is the latest, 2.3 i7, 256 SSD, 16GB RAM, Graphics: Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

That's not the most helpful question. The issue is the balance of work on new features vs work on fixing bugs and making things work well.

I also wish Logos would make quality control a higher priority.

Yes, it seems the marketing is ahead of the product development, but maybe I'm judging it by Logos & Bible software standards.

Thanks to all!

How do I set the Logos app to keep the screen on while the app is open? It keeps shutting off on me while lecturing. I knew how to do this with the Android app, but I can find the setting on the iPad app. Thanks

The four volumes of Critique textuelle de l'Ancien Testament are probably the most important books ever written on the text of the Hebrew Bible. I would like to see these in Logos. https://www.eisenbrauns.com/ECOM/_4901FG2TF.HTM Also the introductions were recently translated into English http://www.eisenbrauns.com/item/BARSTUDIE

I just experienced the same problem — pressing the shortcut key for highlighting wasn't working. I looked for this thread and saw someone mentioned holding the key down longer. I tried this and it worked. I held down "y," my yellow highlighter shortcut, for about a second or so and it worked, whereas simply pressing the key would not. The book I was

Has anyone filed something on this?

This problem still exists in 6.0a SR-4.
-
Yes, I highly recommend the courses by Miles van Pelt.

Yes, John's example is the main one. If you have a Bible open and BDAG open, for instance, and you double click a word to open the entry in BDAG, you can scroll through the long entry in BDAG and once a reference to your verse appears, that reference is highlighted in BDAG because your Bible is open to that passage. This works if link to open panels

That resource, even the print edition, is published in transliteration.

I've had trouble with this too. I think it is a bug in the tool.
