• Keeping Track of Articles Read

Many times as I'm using my Logos software I will come across a book or journal I really like and want to remember that particular book, etc. What is the best way to keep track of the different books or journals that I like? Currently, I just write it down on a piece of paper, in a notebook, or somewhere. I'm seeing the need to have an organized system

Matt, Thanks so much for your response. I have 5,377 books in my library so I don't think my library is still small but it may be. I think I just won't download the Perseus collections at this time because I do not want my library cluttered with books I can't read. I really appreciate your comments because it's hard to know what to do. May the Lord

  • NT313: Jesus and the Witness of the Outsiders - Question about Perseus collection

I am doing the study of NT313: Jesus and the Witness of the Outsiders. This study recommends that you download the Perseus Classic Collection and the Perseus Internet collection for the Clippings file that they want you to setup. My question is - I do not know any Hebrew and only a very little Greek. Are these mainly in another language? If so, I don

  • Re: How to use Reading Tool for Nestle- Aland Greek NT, 27th Edition

Yes, I mean read aloud. Used to there was a key I used and Logos would read aloud the passage in English. But I've forgotten the key stroke. In this case I want the passage to be read aloud in "Greek" because I want the correct pronunciation of the Greek. Thanks, Susan

  • Re: Darius & Cyrus the Great

Francis, I also came across information in my research on Darius that Darius is not a name, but a Median title and that was used by Cyrus him. This is discussed in Jack W. Hayford and Gary Curtis' book "Until the End of Time: Revealing the Future of Humankind: A Study of Daniel and Revelations in chapter 6 of that book. Susan Murphy
The New American Commentary on Daniel is good in addressing historical questions of this kind (and addresses this question in particular). If you don't have it but lead a group on Daniel, this could be a worthwhile investment. https://www.logos.com/product/2031/the-new-american-commentary-daniel
Francis, Thank you so

Your problem will be a resourse explanation amenable to your class ... at least that's what I noticed.
Denise, Thanks for your tip. You're so right, this a difficult call.
Assuming that what you mean is that you want to find discussions of this question in your resources, I suggest that you search for: Cyrus WITHIN {Milestone <Bible ~ Daniel 6>} Using Basic Search and having "type:commentary" to indicate which resources you want to search. This will search your commentaries for the word Cyrus
