Well, now. Based on Ben's clarification just hours before shipping (and months after content delivery), I canceled. Apparently, the Logos resource page was not quite correct. Low-end media, and selection of the high-end constrained. Lordy, Lordy ... as they say down south.
I'm tempted to cancel, too, but the 30-day return

Sorry to read about locking up you MBP on Logis shutdown, Charles. I run mine on a 2012 retina MBP, typically without issue. Hope it gets straightened out.
Maybe I should clarify that I like the Preview resources. I am just telling the OP that I don't think we are meant to assign them much value when justifying the cost of Now.
That's a good way to put it. Preview resources had little, if anything, to do with my signing up with Now.
I did my purchase by phone, didn't get what was presented to me, at least as I understood it. Seems many are again confused, have great difficulty with upgrade calculators and Logos support indicates its been difficult for them - so, yes, quite frankly its a pain and a great many , including Logos are having trouble

This all has me wondering: Will someone who owns the FFS for L7 pay less to own the FFS for L8 (when it comes out) than someone who does not own the FFS for L7? If so, that might be additional incentive to buy the FFS just in case one might think they'll eventually let their Now membership expire

Thanks, Brian. It's not something I would feel right asking for. I got cold feet and cancelled it before it was released, and, again, this is what my rapidly-aging memory is saying. I don't remember whether shipping had been announced, though I think it had. At any rate, I was unsure about the product as it was then. I think Logos has done right with

I'm glad to see this product getting straightened out and now about to be released for those who have patiently awaited it. If I recall correctly, I ordered it way-back-when for $99, but it seemed to be less than I had anticipated and there was a lot of confusion about what was coming, so I cancelled that original community price order just before it
I think that the financial situation of the buyer makes a difference as well (and their confidence that they can count on continuing to be rather prosperous in years to come). There are buyers like me for whom the question FFS vs LN is either/or from a financial standpoint. Others seem to have more money to invest and so can use
