• Re: Logos Now from Logos 6 and quite confused.

This all has me wondering: Will someone who owns the FFS for L7 pay less to own the FFS for L8 (when it comes out) than someone who does not own the FFS for L7? If so, that might be additional incentive to buy the FFS just in case one might think they'll eventually let their Now membership expire
Hi Bill, If you got in at the original pre-order price of $99 and did a refund, I think that you can call sales/customer support to get reinstated at your original price. Here's what went out in an email last October:
Here are your options: Keep your Compton’s Encyclopedia and wait for the new Encyclopedia

Thanks, Brian. It's not something I would feel right asking for. I got cold feet and cancelled it before it was released, and, again, this is what my rapidly-aging memory is saying. I don't remember whether shipping had been announced, though I think it had. At any rate, I was unsure about the product as it was then. I think Logos has done right with

I'm glad to see this product getting straightened out and now about to be released for those who have patiently awaited it. If I recall correctly, I ordered it way-back-when for $99, but it seemed to be less than I had anticipated and there was a lot of confusion about what was coming, so I cancelled that original community price order just before it

Tell me please how Platinum L6 is higher than Platinum L7?
Seems that you misread my post. I commented that my About Logos says L5 Diamond although I have both L6 and L7 Platinum. Diamond is the highest level package in those three versions of Logos; hence, it is the one indicated as my status

  • Re: Thanks Logos and Bob

I did what was recently unthinkable to me: I joined Logos Now. There were several reasons, but underlying it was a renewed confidence in Bob and Faithlife.

Hi Rick. It worked perfectly for me when I purchased Now and a library as a non-Now member.

  • Re: Why purchase Full Feature Set instead of joining Logos Now?
I think that the financial situation of the buyer makes a difference as well (and their confidence that they can count on continuing to be rather prosperous in years to come). There are buyers like me for whom the question FFS vs LN is either/or from a financial standpoint. Others seem to have more money to invest and so can use

  • Re: Is the Logos Now Training Manual recommended to get up to date with Logos Now?
The Logos training videos are pretty good. Whether or not you want or need more than that is really a decision you have to make individually. I have not purchased any of the MP training material since L4
Thanks, Fred. The more I think about it, the more it seems that the Logos training videos provide what is needed generally

This is a paradigm shift that's been hard to get my head around, but I finally decided it's the way to go. Your post is encouraging, Levi. Thanks for sharing.

  • Is the Logos Now Training Manual recommended to get up to date with Logos Now?

Being a newly-minted day old Logos Now member, I need to get up to date not only with Logos 7 but also with the Logos Now exclusives up to now. Is this the best resource to do that: https://www.logos.com/product/55018/logos-now-training-manual ? I realize that it was updated up to the release of Logos 7 and will probably be superseded by a new one.

I had wondered as well. Everyone needs a break sometime, especially those who give so much to help others. It can become a full-time job!

Wonderful, Paul! I've found that most frustrations with Logos/Faithlife are based upon wrong assumptions, mine included! I've always found customer service to be very helpful, and my confidence in what Bob and the Faithlife team are doing is renewed again and again. You are quite kind to post this update. I'm glad to see it. Blessings.

Robert, I think this is what you're looking for: https://www.logos.com/compare/feature-sets . The last two columns have Full Feature Set and Logos Cloud Feature Set. I'm still learning all the terminology, but it seems that Logos Cloud Feature Set is what you get with Logos Now: access to all the full feature set plus that which relies upon internet

Daniel, I started out with Logos 3 Gold, eventually bought L4 and L5 Platinum, and then added L6 Diamond. They all had resources I wanted. I just bought L7 Gold yesterday, simply because it had three sets I wanted, and dynamic pricing made it a worthwhile purchase for me. And I'm very pleased with L7 and the new features, especially multi-view. Oh,
