  • Re: Missing Books - I have them under L3 but not under L4

Thanks for the suggestions. I had lost my LSF files in Beta 4. They did return in Beta 5. I had already done a scan of my L3 Resources and still didn't have the books. I only had access to the two Maxwell books that I had listed. After searching my L3 resource directory and noting the book file names, I went to m L4 resource directory and found those

  • Missing Books - I have them under L3 but not under L4

I noticed when going from L4 Beta 3 to Beta 4 that I lost a Maxwell book that I had been reading - "The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership". It was noted as a bug. With the changeover to Beta 5 I once again had access to that book. Looking at my L3 Library I discovered that I had the following Maxwell books: Becoming a Person of Influence, The 21 Most

In response to the MP Seminars - This material fits in Camp 2. I have attended L3 Camps 1 & 2 and just attended L4 Camp 1 in Nashville. We didn't touch upon searching the originals. Morris stated that this would be L4 Camp 2 which is several months down the road before it will be developed.

Thanks, Bradley I discovered by going back to Logos 3 that I had several Maxwell books that are missing. I have no idea how many others are gone at this point. I am glad that you all are on duty.

Is is possible that I will be able to access them again or are they now lost to Logos?

  • Re: 4.0a Beta 4 Release Notes

Prior to updating the beta 4, I was reading John Maxwell's "The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership" on a scheduled reading program. After the update, I received the message that this book was not a part of my library and to contact Logos.com. I searched my library for Maxwell's resources and have four listed: (1) "The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership

Here is a strange one: 1.1 gig on one laptop while I am getting 1.6 gig on the other with everything being equal prior to the update.

  • Re: Deleting the Master Index

Thanks for the information. Sorry that it took me so long to respond. I lost the connection at the church where Camp Logos was and then drove back to Southern Indiana. Quick Question: Do I remove all the files from that subdirectory of just the LibraryIndex file?

  • Deleting the Master Index

It appears that there was a bug in merging the indexes with 4.0a B2. I am at Camp Logos in Nashville and found out that I need to delete the index and have Logos reindex so that I can access all my data. I need some guidance as to where the index is located in Vista. Thanks, Mark Martin

  • Re: How does pbb work in logos 4?

PBB gives you the opportunity to construct your own books or documents and open them up in Logos. There are two versions - a personal which you can only use the books and a standard (?) which allows you to share the books with others. Presently, Logos 4 will not read the PBB's. Logos 3 will. This is on the "todo" list for sometime in the first half

  • Re: Perpetual downloads and restarts

If I remember correctly, go to the subdirectory where Logos 4 is and find the file enablelogging. When you are done, disablelogging in the same directory. The log file should be in your documents under a subdirectory of that name (I think). You may want to do a forum search on logging. Hope this helps or that someone will respond who knows the exact

Dear Brother, I would encouage you to enable logging and go through the startup and close down cycle a couple of times and then disable the logging. Send the log files to Tech Support for analysis. I would imagine that you have one or two resources that don't matchup with Logos' because they have been revised or corrected. The offending resources need

  • Re: Logos 4 Resource Download Problem

If you are working with the MAC version, I am not sure that this will help or not. First of all, you need to enable logging. Then, start the process again a couple of times. Stop logging and send the log files to support so that they can determine the issue that is holding you up. I had the same issue on the windows side when we received the large downloads

I also have Ironside's books and they are also a part of my v4 Library. I agree. You need to sync your licenses with the server in v3 and restart v4. It should pick up the books you are missing. Search the forums. There is a scan command to go out and pickup the sermon file that you have created. I also have my sermons and illustrations available in

Bruce, When you open up he CBV, click on Create a new style in the lower left corner. Choose a style that you would like to modify. Click on that style. It will open up the style. You will have to play with it but as you do the Bible text below will change accordingly. If you need some help, open the help file for instructions on the various elements
