• Re: Can I make a reading plan and choose the order in which I read the Bible books?

I tried again, twice, with the same problem: when I am done entering my list, I can't save it. If I click on something else - let's say on the dates - my plan is erased and replaced by an existing plan! Don't know what to do...

Makes total sense! I tried at least four times and it seemed to work but, at the end, it didn't... :-( The software wants me to name my reading plan and that's where it goes bad: it assigns my plan another name...and my plan becomes another plan!!! I had other weird stuff happen today with my Logos (wrote this questions over three times and got an error

  • Can I make a reading plan and choose the order in which I read the Bible books?

It's all there in the subject box: Can I make a reading plan and choose the order in which I read the Bible books? I finished last year by reading the prophets. I'd like to start the year with the prophets while it's fairly fresh and because I want to put an emphasis on those books this year. Is there a way to make myself a reading plan in which I can

  • Re: Parlez-vous français? Regardez cette French resources Pre-Pub

The bundle is expensive indeed. I bought it anyway. The way I looked at it, I now have 4 French bibles in Logos instead of one. I could access all the others for free on internet, but it was not as practical. None of the books are very practical at this point for someone who reads English: there are much better tools in English for now. Maybe more commentaries

  • Re: Maps in Logos 5

Thank you everyone! I'll take time to "digest" all that and do some tests... Oftentimes, I need the info QUICKLY, as I'm a few days away from my sermon. Maybe I'll explore some more during my vacations! ...then again, maybe not!

  • How to search for various quotes that would be related to sermon topic and add punch

Here's how I could look for quotes to enrich my sermons: 1) Create a workspace where I open all my "quote books" and search all open ressources or 2) use the sermon starter tool. There's a better way, right? I haven't done 1) for quotes but I have a workspace called "illustrations". And 2) just brings up "illustrations", no quotes. Let's say I'm preaching

  • Re: Maps in Logos 5

Found the maps! They were indeed still in my library. It's just that I need to access them through the library search instead of just going to "Bible places" like in L4. Alright, I'll be OK for tomorrow morning! I wish the maps would still be accessible through one search like before instead of through an individual library search. Thanks guys!

  • Maps in Logos 5

The maps were numerous and awesome in Logos 4. With Logos 5, I'm looking for a map of Paul's missionary trips and only find the Faithlife Bible Infographics timeline of the life of Paul. 1) I have no idea how I can make a Powerpoint slide with just the maps and 2) I'd like to have access to the same variety I had before. I can't believe I'm googling

  • Copying note files into another note file...

Hello everyone, I need help. So far, I would use the following system to keep track of my notes/observations on the greek text: I created "Notes Mark" for my notes on Mark, "Notes Philippians" for my notes on Philippians, etc. Having used Logos for a while now and wanting to read through the greek text daily (new year resolution?), I realize that I

  • Error message: Logos has to close when changing window in reading plan

Hi! This is my 1st post... I'm using McCheyne's reading plan which takes me in 4 Scripture passages every day. Lately, I've come across an intermittent problem. As I click to read the next passage, I get an error message telling me that Logos4 has encountered an error and needs to close. Windows tries to look for a solution on the internet but obviously

  • Re: Narrator's voice
Some other voices are available on-line but it's been a while since I've looked for them.
Thanks Richard! I've made it that far but I have only one narrator in my system. Can anyone help me with the process of "recruiting" other narrators? I tried downloading another voice but it doesn't seem to install itself
