  • Notes Sync Maintenance

    Tonight, we will be performing maintenance on Notes sync. Changes made to notes documents will not be synced until the maintenance has been completed. You may see the yellow triangle on your sync icon during this time. Maintenance should begin around 10 PM PDT and end at or before 8 AM PDT.

  • Re: Logos Reading Plans not syncing between iPad and PC - Solved!

    You were affected by a reading plan sync bug that I fixed on the server about a week ago that had nothing to do with location services. Your app had gotten out of sync with the server, so syncing down reading plan statuses would no longer work correctly on that device. Here's the fix we have in place currently while we diagnose the situation further

    Sorry to hear you are having sync issues. If you visit documents.logos.com and duplicate the notes document, does the duplicated document contain the note that was deleted? If not, I'll still be able to recover it for you and figure out what went wrong.

    I have deployed a server-side fix to reading plan status and prayer list status that should resolve this issue. If sync is not working for you, please make a change to your reading plan or prayer list status (mark something as prayed or read, and then un-mark it) to cause it to sync. The updated status should now be present on the device that wasn't

    William, Can you email your reading plans database to dustin.masters@logos.com ? You'll find that in your /Users/ /Library/Application Support/ /Documents/ /Documents/ReadingPlan directory. As far as I can tell your client isn't even trying to sync reading plan statuses, so having the database will help me determine what's going wrong.

    I have created a case for this issue and we will investigate it further. If you shift-click on the sync icon, does your reading plan status get updated?

    It appears your desktop installations are having trouble downloading reading plan sync data. Please post your logs , they will help me determine why the app isn't syncing.

    It appears some kind of security software may be preventing sync from functioning. Do you have any 3rd party firewalls enabled on your computer?

    I wasn't able to find any red flags when I looked at the server logs - this is likely an installation problem with Logos 5, which customer support can help you work through. If you post your logs, I can see if there's any sync issues that the client is logging. This link details where to find your logs.

    Hi William, Is your progress up to date when you view your reading plan at documents.logos.com ? That website shows the last update to your reading plan that the Logos servers received from any of your apps.

    Mark, It looks like some of your data has not been synced up to the server correctly. Please send a copy of your PassageList.db database to me ( dustin.masters@logos.com ) so we can figure out what's going on. You'll find that in your Documents\ \Documents\PassageList directory in your Logos folder. Dustin

  • Undelete presentations

    We just shipped the ability to undelete presentations this week. To undelete a presentation, Go to documents.logos.com . Select a Proclaim group by clicking on your name and selecting the group from the drop-down menu (Proclaim groups will be marked "Presentation Team"). Click the dropdown at the top of the list that says "All" and select "Deleted"

    There's not a direct way to adjust the size of the slides when printing them out at the moment. However, if you click on a slide, it will bring up a larger view for that slide.     Hi Donovan, Sorry about that! I did some digging through our server logs and didn't see any problems, so it's unlikely that this is a server issue. Your iPad appears to be not trying to sync after marking a session as read. I'll open a case and have someone follow up with you. Dustin

    Hi Liz, Sorry for the inconvenience! I have fixed the error you were experiencing on the server. If you try to sync again, the yellow triangle should go away.
