Mark, The performance of the Surface Go is better than the Asus 8" tablet I had back then. Yes, the additional RAM (8GB vs. 2GB for the Asus) and speed of the SSD ( NVMe SSD vs. eMMC for the Asus) make a sizeable difference. But, that Asus tablet ran Logos off of a micro SD card and it was amazing that Logos was usable on

Thanks for the Surface Go review, Bill! You used to have an 8 inch Windows tablet with an Atom processor. How does the Go compare to that in terms of performance? I would guess that with the SSD and 8 gb of RAM, the Go should "go" better! Thanks!
Something about a code to get Test Flight working is missing in your post. I think I will wait for the update. Kind of a bummer because I normally use Logos for Wednesday night Bible study.
Here's what I did. I installed the Test Flight app on my iPad. Then, I pasted the link (in my case, for Verbum) into Safari

I decided to install the Verbum iOS beta on my iPad Pro running iOS 12.1. Most of the resources I had downloaded were wiped from the device, but the app does work. So, my experiment was a success! Now I can see what the iPad version of the app was meant to look like! (I can always re-download everything, but I'll wait for the official app to do that

A new update has fixed the ghosting issue by enabling auto-refresh on third party apps. So, the screen will auto-refresh on Logos/Verbum as well. That takes care of my one little issue with this device!

Glad you found the problem - and equally glad that the problem wasn't in your Likebook itself. Thank God for that! Adapters are relatively easy, and cheap, to replace.
I have my Likebook plugged in to power, but it doesn't appear to be charging. Any guidance?
Let's run through a basic checklist and see. Is your Likebook fully connected to the usb cable? Is the cable fully connected to the power source? If so, try unplugging the cable and then reconnecting it. What is your power source

The language options on the Likebook Mars are limited now. However, the Amazon seller has said that future updates will include more languages. The ghosting I see on mine is faint. Still, I wanted to mention it so that people would know in advance that it might be present. The seller also promises to fix this issue as well soon. Overall, I am quite

The Note is a great option for Logos use. The only reason I ended up selling mine is because I found that I missed the frontlight when reading with an E-Ink device - even though I have the frontlight fairly low. That's the reason why I ended up selling my Note and buying the Likebook Mars. The Mars' performance, with Logos, is roughly the same as that

I would be curious do know how well a few other features work: How smooth is the functionality on highlighting / notes / clipping ? On a Bible with a reverse interlinear (e.g. the RSVCE) how well does

As promised, here is a four minute video which introduces the Likebook mars and gives a brief look at how it handles Verbum/Logos. I hope it is helpful.

From what I'm told, Likebook Mars units being sold through Amazon (US) now have Google Play pre-installed. I hope to have a video up for you by the end of the day tomorrow.

Onyx is supposed to release the Nova before the end of the year, but no definite date has been announced. Similar specs to the Likebook Mars, IIRC. Probably a similar price, too. The Dasung looks promising, but I'll pass on the crowdfunding campaign. Show me the actual device, out there and available for purchase, and at a better price... and then we

I don't really want to go through the PlayStore (even after the software update) as the Google services are probably a bit of a battery drainer. My unit should arrive in the next few days. Hence my warning. By tapping the icon that toggles A2 mode on and off, you can do a manual refresh as desired. This ghosting is the only negative thing I can say about
