Ok... so I've been having the same problem. Invisible books in the detail view. So here's my attempt at submitting logs: 144263.Archive.zip

  • Persistent pop-ups in 4.0a

Intro: 1. I really don't know how to find out if this is being reported elsewhere. Searching on "pop-up" generates way too many responses. So sorry if I missed it. 2. I don't know how to duplicate this issue - it seems random. (I know, the worst kind...) Problem: Occasionally a popup will persist as the frontmost item even after I command/tab (switch

  • Re: Help requested - categorizing resources and viewing list of open books

Two more ways to browse your dictionaries: 1. In the Search field at the top left of the Library pane/window, you may enter "Type:Dictionary" (no quotes; no space). This will pull up anything listed as a dictionary. The problem is, it doesn't differentiate between English/Greek/Hebrew, Bible dictionaries, etc. So there is another way if this first way

  • Re: Help requested - categorizing resources and viewing list of open books

So maybe I hit post too soon. In addition to seeing my typos ... There may be a way to search by tag to produce a list of just you dictionaries, but I don't know how. Instead, what works for me is to click on the "My Tags" column header. This will at least sort your books by "My Tags." Someone else may be able to help on the search by tag issue.

  • APXL?

I so appreciate all you are doing to produce a great product. As a "Beta Tester" perhaps I should be more fluent with programming terms (!?), but I have no idea what this Beta 11 Release Note means: "Copy data onto pasteboard APXL data first, allowing paste into Pages to use preferred APXL format to show footnotes properly." (I was so excited to try
Use the Copy Bible pane setup . . . Then simply paste into Pages.
Thanks Robert. But what I was hoping for was that citations from other sources (Dictionaries, Commentaries, etc.) would be footnoted. (That was my hope for the meaning of the mysterious - to me - APXL reference.) Back in the day when I used Windows

Robert: Perhaps I'm the one missing something. I am attempting this with Pages '08. From your screenshot, I'm guessing you are using '09. Is that what I'm missing? (Because it still doesn't work for me.)

  • Re: APXL?

Glenn, I just noticed that if I make a Clipping from one of the resources that don't generate footnotes in Pages 09 - all the bibliographic info including page numbers is present in the info section of that Clipping (small "i" bottom right). So somehow the citation info makes it properly into a Clipping, but not into Pages. You probably knew that already
. . . Editing info like this is not yet possible in the Mac version. It should eventually be possible, but not yet.
Thanks for clarifying this Chris. As much as I appreciate the attempts to help from my Windows brethren, I ended up really confused about why I couldn't get this done. And because this was all taking

  • Re: A21 – New Alpha, Same Ole Grey Panel!

Ditto. But not just commentaries. Sometimes Bibles. And not just when initially opening them. Often, if I drag a properly working resource from one panel to another it will "go grey." It will also cause the other resources in that panel to go grey. This actually started happening in A20.

Tommy, Sorry that it's taken so long to reply. I am working a second job and just haven't had time. Here's my logs. Hope this works. I haven't even opened L4 for the past several days.

  • Re: Hyperlink? Popup? BUG?

Ok... I accidentally figured out that this is not just a Logos issue on my MacBook. My dock wasn't showing/hiding properly, hot corners on my display didn't function, thumbnails on "Top Sites" would not launch, etc. It's something to do with my mouse. When I use the trackpad, everything works as expected. "Everything" includes the pop-ups in Logos 4

  • Re: Hyperlink? Popup? BUG?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'd already looked into my Prefs. There is nothing that would explain why the mouse would quit activating on hover or cease to send right clicks. This mouse is from an older iMac (I use a track ball there). I've never been a fan of those mice because they don't seem to work consistently. But that is a topic for another

  • Hyperlink? Popup? BUG?

I couldn't even find what these are called in Help. It's the blue text that, upon hover, pops up references, etc. They no longer work as pop-ups. They do not work in any of my resources. If I click on a verse reference, the passage will open in my Bible. But they don't pop up. I don't see a program setting to turn this feature on or off. Not sure when
do you mean this functionality?
Yes. The only settings I had modified was to turn off both bookmarks settings. But I reset defaults anyway and it didn't help. So, I guess I'll report it.

I have been talking to logos about the same issue. I contacted customer service because my MacBook listed only three of the eight timelines that I should have in my library. (But all eight were listed as available on my iMac.) Then I noticed that all my timelines malfunctioned in the same was as your screenshot. And sometimes, not always, utilizing
It’s a free crossgrade from your LE package to its KF replacement
I sorry to be dense, but I don't get it. When I click on the "free crossgrade" link I land on a page that offers me a "custom upgrade" from my LE to the KF at the discounted price of only $675. What happened? Did I miss out?
