  • saving notes to file

Is there a way to save our notes done in logos to a flash drive. My laptop is slowly dying and I don't want to loose all my notes I have written down. Thanks, Les

  • Re: H.A. Ironside or Robert A. Morey…

Ironside is my favorite for commentaries. A while back I was able to get a discount from my sales rep. You might want to call and see if they can give you a sale price on it. They gave me a price of 219.99 and it is selling for 354.95. That was a tremendous break. You never know what they might say. Les

Try changing your preferences to make yourself the administrator for Logos. Also, go to program settings and turn internet off. This helped greatly on mine. Michael, how do I change to administor for Logos. Also where do I turn internet off? Thanks, Les

Deborah, my laptop has Core 2 Duo 2 GHz, 3 GB Ram, Windows Vista home premium, DVD drive, 1280X1024 display. Not sure of the 512 MB Dirext X10 graphics I have 127 GB free hard drive left, running Hi speed cable internet And running Logos 4 is slow, very slow when writing notes. It has about 3 or 4 second delays when changing layouts. Les

  • Re: New Internationl reader's version and New International version

Hi rosie, I checked my L4 and they both were in my hidden files folder. I deleted them and restarted L4 and it is indexing now, so it must be putting them back in. Thank you so much. Les

Rosie, I do have both of them in logos 3. I did the synchronize licenses. After restarting Logos 4 they are still not there. Could I have deleted them from my Library somehow??? Is it possible to delete books from our libraries?? The only niv bible I have in my library is "Today's New International Version". Thanks, Les

I have the scholar's version, and I just noticed that those two bibles are not in my library. They use to be. Does anyone know how I can get them back. Thanks, Les

  • Re: Gates of Jerusalem

There's some info (and photographs of what they look like now) in the entry on Jerusalem in the Baker Encyclopedia of the Bible . And there's a quite substantial section on Borders (which includes walls and gates) in the entry on Jerusalem in the Zondervan Encyclopedia of the Bible . Both of these are terrific resources if you don't already have any

Sorry but it just isn't going anywhere lately. This has been in this range for a while. Maybe if it gets to 80% then we can start to get excited.

  • Re: Meaning of "desire" in Gen. 3:16

Thank you all for your replies. I will do a little more digging into this, that is what this is all about anyways. I kind of tend to believe Eve wasn't desiring Adam in the loving way. thanks, again Les

  • Meaning of "desire" in Gen. 3:16

I was reading in Genesis chapter 3 and when I came to verse 16 I was wondering what is really meant by the word desire. I am using the NASB 95 update. For one I don't know why the Greek came up since it should be hebrew. Two others came up as hebrew but they are different than the greek. It seems the hebrew is a longing for, to be with her husband,

I originally put in a $30.00 bid way back, and about a month ago upped it to $60.00. Was just wondering if it is going to be worth it since some of the reviews don't look that good. I did see that spurgeon said the old testament was good along with the epistles.
