• Re: Studies in Old Testament Biblical Theology

This was suggested a couple years ago, but I would like to suggest it again. I would like to see the Studies in Old Testament Biblical Theology from Zondervan come to Logos. I hope this entire series can come to Logos soon. Thanks.

  • Re: Theological Dictionary of the Old Testament

I just re-read the description ( here ) and in the second paragraph it says, " the TDOT volumes present in-depth discussions of the key Hebrew and Aramaic words in the Old Testament. " So it APPEARS to be saying that it already has the Aramaic. If that is a misunderstanding on my part, then fine....I want an Aramaic volume (at least one) on most (if

it looks like the TDOT is complete.
I believe there are 2 volumes left. One on Aramaic words and an index volume.
Where did you see that at? I really hope that they ARE coming out with at least one Aramaic volume, too. Since that is important to me.

  • Re: Wm. B. Eerdmans Publisher - New Testament Commentaries

There is an upcoming commentary from Eerdmans for the NICNT. It is "The Epistle to the Hebrews" by Gareth Lee Cockerill. It is coming the end of April, but I would like Logos to add it when they can. You can see the upcoming book here . Another upcoming book (also for the end of April) from Eerdmans is the Eerdmans Critical Commentary "Isaiah 40-66

I also would like more commentaries on the Apocrypha (including NT Apocrypha). Classic Jewish Commentaries would be a huge plus, too.

  • Bug: Some Text Disappears when "Bible Text Only" is selected

I was doing reading in the NRSV in 1 Sam, and I came across an interesting bug: in chapter 15 verse 33 you read "But Samuel said, “As your sword has made women childless, so your mother shall be childless among women.” " But this is not the full text. I had on "Bible Text Only" so it would sync better with the BHS when I am scrolling (with that deselected

  • Suggestion: The Baker Illustrated Bible Commentary

I would like to recommend to Logos that they add the recently released (or will be released in this month) commentary on the whole bible from Baker. It is called The Baker Illustrated Bible Commentary . You can see it here . I like having both whole bible Commentaries as well as Collections of Bible commentaries on each individual book of the bible

  • Suggestions for Logos4 Maps Extended

So I found two older threads dealing with similar Logos4 map disappointments. But I would like to bring them back here. (The two threads are here: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/8003/63467.aspx#63467 And here: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/9599.aspx ; there might be others that I missed, though). 1. A MAJOR gripe of mine about the maps is

  • Suggestion: Dr. Brad H. Young Collection

So, I did a search for Brad Young in both Logos.com and the Logos forums and I have not seen any suggestions for his books. I believe his books are good resources. He is a professor in the Graduate Program at Oral Roberts University (he teaches the Masters in Judaic-Christian Studies). These are the books he wrote that I'd like to see added to Logos
The work was licensed exclusively to another company and we need to wait until that term expires before we can acquire it for Logos Bible Software. • Re: SUGGESTION: Tool to identify repetition

Having such a tool that would automatically search for repeated phrases or words in 1) one book of the Bible and 2) every book of the Bible, to see if other authors picked up on the same theme, would be amazing! Not everyone even realizes there ARE repeated words or phrases (or themes, for that matter). I definitely would like to see such a feature

Okay, so an update for everyone: I was looking at Eerdmans site and they have 15 volumes. Volume 1 was published, according to Eerdmans, in October of 2011. I have looked at Volume 15 and noted that there are about 18 other Hebrew words in HALOT that it does not APPEAR to have...unless they were grouped under different articles (which I am hoping is
