• Re: Can we have Dynamic pricing on Social Science Commentary?

Don, Sorry that this wasn't launched with Dynamic Pricing... that's my fault. I've gone in and updated the product to have dynamic pricing. If anyone has any dynamic pricing questions, feel free to always post on the forums, or you can even email me at my first name dot last name at faithlife.com. I want to make sure we're always offering it where we

You're right, we somehow missed this one. Dynamic Pricing is now enabled. Thanks for letting us know, I wish I could have caught this sooner. Best, Brandon

M.J., did you see this? http://www.catholicsentinel.org/main.asp?SectionID=2&SubSectionID=35&ArticleID=27683 This is so fascinating. I'm sure many are curious, like me, and looking for a book or two to read.

  • Re: A classic on the Roman Mass!

I got the dead-tree version of this for Christmas and have not been able to put it down (I even brought the first volume with me to work...). These volumes are so incredible. My regret is that I can't click on the footnotes to follow the citations that interest me. But this is such a good book so far.
Maybe a little note should be added to say more or less that for people used to gauging book length by page count.
Donezo
its 21 pages!!! for 2 books??? and its $6? Hopefully this gets driven way down.
I wouldn't worry about this price that much. It's almost certainly going to

its 21 pages!!! for 2 books??? and its $6?
That's odd - on ccel.org it's 70 pages.
It's the same exact content, the page count discrepancy depends on how you format the text. CCEL might be counting it based on how the text looks in MS Word or on a web browser or PDF. • Re: Where Does Logos Get Thier Prices For Printed Titles?

Most of you have the right idea: we match the publisher's SRP for modern books, and we go with hardback prices where it makes sense (assuming that the difference in price from hardback to paperback isn't measured in the $100s...). For public domain works, we hit up the internet and estimate what the most consistent lowest price is for facsimile reprints

Happy Advent! Some of you might like this: The Bible Speaks Today is now available individually! (But notice, it's definitely a much better deal to buy the whole series.) This resource sounds just fantastic. Looking into it... (I think you know this, we look into all of the requests but don't always comment. I just had to comment on this one...)

  • Re: Why Does The Pentecostal & Charismatic Package Not Go Past Silver
I see it only goes up to silver. Why is that?
As others have suggested, it is a combination of the lack of the key books (and quantity of books) that would make a P&C Gold worth its name, and the lack of a product manager to oversee P&C products and marketing. We'd love to have up to Portfolio in all of our denominational
As a quick follow up, Biblical Languages still doesn't show dynamic pricing. Perhaps Faithlife isn't planning on offering it this time around?
That's correct. Biblical Languages in Logos 6 is a different kind of product, intended for students looking for their first-time base package (if they're particularly drawn to languages

Sorry about the delay in shipping this out the door. We plan to set a new ship date and send another email to give enough notice for everyone to be prepared for the charge to your cards. It's still coming. We'll update the product page as soon as we are able.

Hey Mitchell, At the risk of sounding really salesy (I don't know how to say this in a non -salesy way...), I just wanted to mention that we have a really good solution for you. If you're part of the Academic Program, give Academic Sales a call (800-878-4191 for US and Canada, and +1 360-603-5572 for international calls), and they can tell you all about

My wish is your command! The Bible in Medieval Tradition (2 vols.) I will do my best to keep this collection updated as Eerdmans produces more volumes in this series, so you have one place on the store where you can go to find all of the volumes.

It's the day before the midnight release of Left Behind , starring Nicholas Cage! Am I the only one excited about this? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2467046/ Then again, that would make October 2nd the date of importance (or October 3rd if you wanted to be specific)...

Exactly :) In both cases, "upgrade" means you buy new books (or datasets) in the same field/subject/etc. Also in both cases, you don't need previous versions to purchase the new version. (Although if you're a new customer, you aren't really "upgrading" when buying a base package from scratch... although your Bible studies may be seeing a significant

Sorry about that. If I remember correctly, the "upgrade" collection was the same as the original collection, except that it contained 1 more volume. This was created at a time before we had Dynamic Pricing, and we had to create 2 different collections to prevent customers was paying for that 1 volume twice (if they wanted the other 17 but already had

We already have B.W. Bacon's Studies in Matthew in that product. Do you perhaps mean some other book? And G.D. Kilpatrick's book is not in the public domain. If we acquired that book, we would be unable to include it in this collection, as we'd have to get it contracted and pay royalties on it. (that is to say, you would see it on Pre-Pub--not Community
